Jon is such a cuck. Made Sansa promise not to tell anyone - she tells someone like one hour later. Did he really expect otherwise? Guy can't kept a secret (literally told Dany right before the battle).
He would make a terrible king because he is so easily manipulated. Dany manipulates him, and Varys and Tyrion (or whoever his advisers are) sure as hell would if he ever becomes King.
Honestly the best two people to have on the throne at this point would probably be Tyrion and Sansa.

I will admit though, I am not as disappointed in this weeks episode as I was last weeks ever since I lowered my expectations for this show actually delivering. Varys going back to his Spider roots was good to see. I also likes Sansa's conversation with the hound.

I'm not sure if Jon is being manipulated or if his telling Sansa and Arya was part of a strategy, much like Sansa telling Tyrion
He made Sansa and Arya swear not to tell anyone because they're family when the secret is that he's not family. I think it's a calculated move on his part tbh, he wants the truth out there

These dragons are super weak and easy to take down. LITERALLY ONE SHOT KO.The producers of this show are horrible. Once they ran out of the real content written by George RR Martin it has gone steadily down hill. It all started really tanking when they created that whole arc in Dorn for bronn/jaime despite having actual things written by the author that those characters could have been doing that would have made much more sense. I think that's why they are finishing up this season as quick as they can. They simply didn't know how to do it properly and just want to get it done with.
As for the dragons. I'm ok with them being vulnerable. Dragons never stop growing. The ones that were originally used to conquer the 7 kingdoms were way older than the ones in the show now. I think the main one was over 100 at the time iirc. Once they get much older their scales get so thick that nothing can penetrate them and only a shot to the eye or something could kill one. But currently these dragons aren't that big yet and so are vulnerable to ballistas.
But despite all that the show has still gone to sh*t.

and on top of that being so accurate to hit flaying targets that are hundreds of meters out. Are those things heat seeking?

So I watched this episode, with the intention not to just be overtly critical. I wanted to see if I could just enjoy it and not nitpick it and suspend belief like you're supposed to do with fiction.
I couldn't. There is just so much stupidity and pandering on this show that it's getting cartoonish. D&D just don't give a fuk about disrespecting the audience intelligence. They just don't give a fuk.
- Bronn walks into a room with the Lannisters while carrying a giant crossbow with no problem. Even though Cersei wanted him to use it, he really could have just left that thing back at the motel and just used something a little less noticeable. Maybe?
- Chick flick story lines in the first couple minutes. When Sansa looked at Brienne, knowing she was boning Jaime, they should have added an audio track of the audience members "Ooooooooo"-ing.
- "I'm gonna tell you guys something, but you have to pinky swear!" - Jon Snow
- Sam, Gilly, Tormund, and Ghost just bounce. Just cause.
- Who needs scouting a dangerous territory before a possible battle. Seriously, not 1 spy? Not anybody? Imagine if the word got back that Cersei had ballistas that would put the dragons in danger. Isn't Varys supposed to have spies everywhere. The only way this is forgiveable is if Varys knew and this was on purpose.
- Cersei won't kill Tyrion, but will kill Misandei, and won't kill the rest of the crew with Dany even though their ballistas are able to.
I am now in amazement at how goofy D&D is willing to get. I almost wanted to give them some leeway for the Battle At Winterfell's plotholes and awful writing because trying to put together something that significant and complicated was a task. But there is no excuse for this.

Remember when the giant went unarmed at Battle of the Bastards. Yet the undead version was smart enough to use a club lol. Pretty much vindicates all the people pointing that out back when it aired

Looking ahead to next episode how can they possibly even take KL? This episode established that 6 pirate ships>>>>>>>>>>> a dragon and bunch of normal war boats. Unless they get a big reenforcement out of nowhere it doesn’t make any sense

Yeah she wants the throne, she dedicated her whole adult life to it but she still loves Jon and its pretty obvious. Dude just betrayed her an hour later and now she's gonna find out because a bunch of people know.
So stupid. She lost her dragon, lost her best friend, and Jon betrayed the fuk outta her before the big battle for no reason. Lemme break down each of the three reasons Dany will turn evil.
1. Lost her dragon because somehow they were able to kill it with three well aimed ballista shots from a mile away which is complete bullchit because a fleet doens't just show up on another fleet JUST like that, especially since Dany has 2 dragons miles up in the air for scouting. AND should have had the place well scouted regardless. How do massive fleets just show up out of nowhere?
2. Somehow in a massive naval battle with hundreds of people fighting, chaos etc. Euron was able to SOMEHOW find Missandei. Which is SUCH GARBAGE
3. Jon betrays Dany like a dumbass before her showdown with Cersei. There's literally no need for him to tell Sansa and Arya so quickly.
So essentially, this twist of Dany turning evil feels so forced/fake.

Totally forgot, Kit Harrington said there was some "unreal twist". Where the fuk was it?
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

"Thanks for joining me today for this executive meeting, I know your time is valuable so I'll keep this short. Denarys and the dragons kill everyone while they're at their strongest, this way we can bypass like 3 more seasons of the show with the highest ratings of all time. Any questions?"
'Yeah, I have a question, how much money can we expect to make if we do it that way?'
"Not much at all, but people on the internet MIGHT not argue that they know how to run a medieval fantasy invasion better than a make believe dragon queen, any other questions?"
