I respect you owning up to it and coming to the misc for public shaming.

OP is a *******...But I'm sure many of us have been there at some point. It's embarrassing in hindsight, but at least it gave you an answer and shut the door for you. Instead of holding onto hope or whatever, you can just leave it along and move on. Chalk it up as some experience and a lesson, and march onward.
