Millz is probably talking about getting hydrogen from water as fuel, but, the fusion ideas I've read on use deuterium and tritium so getting the fuel isn't easy peasy.

I’ve had 3 vehicles damaged and need repaired for hail so far. And I’ve lived here like 3.5 years.

But Papa was close to some tornadoes last night. You’re south of OKC right? Pretty sure the weather channel is based there or something. That’s when you know you’re in a fooked up area lol.

Was thinking about it WAY more when I thought it might be a true steel frame. Now...meh, I dunno. I'm a sucker for steel framed guns. Even though I don't care for PPQ's, even their new steel framed Q5 match has me at least interested in trying one. lol

Steel framed guns just offer more than polymer and I really like that. They're heavier, so shoot way flatter and softer, feels nice to be holding something that doesn't feel like a toy, the silky smoothness of the steel on steel after about 1K rounds through it is great. What's not to like? What can I say, I'm a sucker for nice steel framed guns.

The 0330 tornado was across the highway in Northeast Norman. Not too close, but not far enough away.

If you guys all think that guns have been made out to be evil by the media/ignorant people, looks at how nuclear and the hysteria around that has been blown out of proportion.

Also, currently unranked since I've only shot one match but my match here this weekend is an all classifier, if I'm not terrible I should fairly easily make C class, if I everything goes smoothly and I don't have any big mistakes, I feel like low B class is within reach. Not that class really means much for someone as new to the sport as I am, I just am putting a lot of effort into this and may just cry if I don'tat least skip D class lol.


That being said, I will probably get nervous, **** my pants and DQ on the second stage or something, so cheers to saying **** it and finding out haha.

Our house was half a block from the elementary school where the nearest siren was. Sometimes we'd be on the playground when they tested it. Man--those things will split your skull when you are that close.

I recently turned snooze off on my phone alarm and I think it's easier to get up at a reasonable time now. I relied on it too much before. Seems like every week I had to tell my work that I was going to be either 9, 18 or 27 minutes late.

I kinda want to try glock being ive never had one before. But the Sig P365 game too strong I think. Glock needs to get it together and come out with a G43 but double stack like the Sig.

In other news got to take that new budget rifle I built to the range and zero it. Bad news while doing rapid fire the illumination on the vortex spitfire ar started going in and out. But a summary of things:

PSA 300 BLK 8.5" FN barrel CHF - Good to go, about .5-1.2" MOA. Its far more accurate than me for sure. First 3 shots were right on top of each other touching.

Vortex Spitfire AR - possibly bad, but contacted support and they said try changing battery, which to be fair it comes with some POS AAA off brand so that could be it. And even if the illumination doesn't work, its an etched reticle. Also there was some grit in the battery cap so that might have been it too? Cleaned it out with some rubbing alcohol. Its still working normally while not firing, but I need to go back with a new battery and see. I would REALLY hate to send it back for work cause I just zeroed it lol.

20 to 30 years from now? I won't be surprised to see fusion reactors be small and portable for trucks and aircraft. With fuel basically being free.

50 to 60 years from now? Maybe a small water heater sized fusion reactor will be a household appliance. Pay $5k and never pay for electricity for your house again.

They have working prototypes, they've successfully produced a contained fusion reaction and harnessed it to create electricity. This alone is huge. The fuel source is effectively free, all you're paying for is the reactor itself.

Worst case scenario is their reactor is the same size or smaller than existing fission reactors on subs.

Yeah yeah yeah I understand skeptical hippo, but again the fact that they've got it working is huge.

Im all for fusion, but not sure how a portable reactor on a plane would make the plane fly unless we go back to all prop engines?

Yup, eventually I'll either want some limited action with that TSO or carry optics with the shadow 2, for now I want to work my fundamental skills and stage planning, plus I had bought an x-five to shoot production then discovered the Shadow 2 and bought it and sold the x-five immediately lol, can't justify another pistol for a while until the wifey calms down about the even more expensive one I bought.
