Hey all,

Short story. Met up with a girl for sex a little while ago from tinder. It wasn’t exactly pre-arranged but was implied. I went to her place and it happened pretty much instantly. I am a little more experienced than she is with this hook up thing. We ended up continuing to talk and get to know one another. We are completely compatible and care for each other very much.

But I cannot seem to let go of how we met. It’s created some stress for us.

Anyone had a similar experience?

it has to start somewhere. i wouldn't dwell too much on that and focus on continuing to progress the relationship. it is very common for this to be the way things start in today's society, not saying it's ideal but it is what it is. if you like her you will be able to see past this. i think we all worry a bit too much about getting cheated on in this forum--let's cross that bridge when we get to it instead of worrying about it all the time.

lol brah, you jumping way too far into it? Marriage??
Serious. How about you date her first before thinking about how the marriage will play out.
But, honestly would it be any different if you met her at a bar and fcked her on the first night?
I don't think Tinder is the problem, but the fact that you think she was to easy to fck.

It’s been about 6 months for us now. It takes me a long time to allow someone into my life so only now am I want to pursue things very seriously with her. And marriage is my end goal, at some point, in the future.

It's common AF nowadays. Almost every wedding I go to now has the "I swiped right" phrase on how they met. The dating game has changed with smartphones and with other dating sites only featuring beached whales or single mothers.

Honestly, most people I know out of college now use it as a dating app and not a hookup app.

Realistically, the majority of women are capable of having a ONS this day and age.

If they've been on Tinder, they know how easy the process is to get sex from the type of guy they want.

So if you are with a girl who has experienced this and felt comfortable with it, you better be sure she isn't going to seek the same fix the first time you hit a rough patch or she misses the attention she used to get.

Only you know if there are red flags that you chose not to disclose in this post. If there isn't, then there shouldn't be any reason not to move forward unless how you met and how quickly you had sex is a dealbreaker for you.

Thanks for the normal response. There is zero worry about her cheating on me. This happened a few months ago and there is some geographical distance between us also. So we were just seeing how it was going. She’s utterly amazing and have been with enough women to know this. But I’ve always got it in the back of my mind how we met.

I suppose the issue is how fast it happened. She isn't a tinderella, slutty or anything like that. Her response is she gave in while on vacation. She was married for a long time in her life. No red flags at all... believe me I was trying to find them and I often run at any glimpse of one.

If she'll let your sewer creature ass bone her after a few texts, what do you think her past is like? How is she going to respond when she eventually gets tired of you and still has dozens of Chads blowing up her inbox? Get a brain, brah. She's either:

1. MAGICALLY transformed by your presence and will only sloot with you and never anyone else
2. Sloots gonna sloot

WHICH DO YOU THINK IS MORE LIKELY?

your opinion is biased as you clearly have feelings for this girl. if giving it up this easily, on the first date is not a sign of a sloot then what is? be honest with yourself and whatever you do best of luck!

OP here is a normal non-misc answer for you:

People sometimes do things which are out of character which they never do again, especially when they are young, are subject to environmental influences, and don't know any better. As long as it's not a pattern of behavior and an anomaly, it's a total waste of an otherwise potentially compatible relationship to judge someone on one of their weaker moments.

Sex on 1st date or met online will automatically disqualify certain women to people. You aren't going to change the mind of these people convincing them your situation is an exception.
Also, pressing her about her past to convince yourself she's an exception is probably pointless. If you are trying to uncover things to disqualify them, they might sense it and lie accordingly. Either be subtle/act like you don't care or trust your gut and don't bother asking.

In the end it's your decision on what is going to constitute a firm red flag for you.

Meeting on tinder/bumble is normal these days though. Friend is getting married to a girl he met on Tinder. Other friend dated a solid girl from tinder for 8 months last year. I met my current gf on bumble.

Good for you, brah. Happy that you're happy, but let's go into these things with our eyes open. If she was on active on tinder and let you hit it right away, it's safe to assume that poon has a ton of dink miles on it. If that doesn't bother you, so be it, but it should definitely be factored into any financial decisions like marriage and joint home ownership.
