I don't think it's weird in the slightest, it's only odd when there's a HUGE age gap, like 40 years or something. I'm 23 and I would smash a 16 y/o (legal age where I live).

Oddly enough when I was 23 I wanted nothing to do with 18 year olds.

Thought they were too retarded to be around. But as I get older I realize most women are ruined by other men the older they get, they also become bitter angry people after dealing with the realities of life.

Now I would 100% date an 18 year old. They are not beaten down by life yet and are far more bubbly/fun to be around

Would you seriously be trying to have a respectful relationship with that girl though? With a potential future? Seems like that may be tough as she’s not even in college yet and you are nearly 30. But not totally impossible.

In my experience the much older dudes were just hunting for easy sex, a porn fantasy and an ego boost. That’s why many 18/19/20 yo women are told not to mess with older guys. My parents told me the same and I don’t think my father was a jealous old harpy.

Think people would find it a lot less creepy if you were serious about the girl, but even then, an 18 yo is mentally a child so some people will always see it as predatory.

As long as you’re interested in her for her and not simply because she’s 18, that’s a different matter.

I don’t think miscers get this very important distinction in the creepiness factor

Nothing to do with that at all. And yeah I think depending on the girl you could have a respectful relationship (obviously not with all of them). I think they are young enough to mold into what you want.

The problem with older women is they have been fuked up emotionally by other guys, dating etc etc..

With an 18 year old you are getting more of a clean slate. Teach them how to have respect for eachother in a relationship, how to diet and stay in shape. Mentor them through school/career. Keep them from making terrible life choices like drugs and partying every night.

You are not getting some emotionally damaged washed up feminist. The years between 18-25 are absolutely essential for developing the personality you will have the rest of your life. Why not try and mold that into something nice for yourself?
