Just listened to an Australian government funded radio station a few weeks back discussing the "increase in female suicide, and what we need to do about it"... literally the very next story was a Feminist discussing how we need quotas for women on corperate boards.

Does this include murder/suicide? It probably doesn’t. That’s important because a lot of the same reasons that lead to suicide often appear in those cases, mixed with hate.

Not sure how the article defines cyber bullying, but it doesn’t even have to be direct. The lying on the internet and presenting oneself as something they are not. Or pushing/enforcing views of how and where one should be in life at a certain point is even MORE toxic than flat out teasing or hate.

You are planting a seed of insecurity, doubt, low self worth and failure in an adolescent boy who will grow up with these fabricated thoughts of fallacy, that over time it will beat them down emotionally and socially that they will feel like nothing and that there is no hope and they are lost.

We can say the Internet makes it more widespread. But it’s far from just “op is a *******” that’s laughable and can be shrugged off. It’s these deeper thoughts that are being perpetuated and glorified. And instead of a high school of 600 and at worst being able to transfer, there are MASSES on the internet that push the views and teasing. It’s almost possible to escape. The thought is “just sign off” but as I said, it’s not the “you suck, I ****ed your mom fatty” that is really striking these kids. It’s the idea of the “social media life” perpetuated by their peers(not celebs) and the feelings of insecurity that one can’t live up to the lies presented as normal by millions of kids their own age.

Probably due to the rise of single motherhood. Young men are now growing up in homes without having a constant male role model in their lives. They watch the men of the older generation in films, at work etc but can’t emulate their masculinity, this causes bad decisions, resentment and other mental health issues.

Single motherhood needs to stop being glorified, it is hurting the youth of society.

I know it's painful for the family. However, since I've been very depressed and suicidal this past year, I become more open to the idea of suicide.

It is a loud minority, but I can’t scroll through ******** for kore than 15 seconds without hitting some kind of meme about the joys of single parenthood, I did grow uo and still live 8n a deprived area with very high rates of single motherhood and teen pregnancy though, so that probably skews from my point of view.

I also tend to browse other forums, such as mumsnet and it is unbelievable how many posts are from single parents slagging off the British Courts for allowing fathers visitation etc.

So, probably a minority of people, but the people who have a solid husband and family dynamic aren’t the ones blogging and writing forum posts about how much better their lives are now that they are a mother and that their no-good man is gone.

So I do think it’s a minority, but that minority has a very large internet presence and I can’t really blame them for trying to convince the world that they are better off.

Most ladies who are actually happy single mothers don’t tend to go on and on about it.

In all fairness I agree but that is because I don’t like children and would need alcohol and ***** to cope with a kid even with the support of my husband.

Being of the old mindset that i have of bullying makes stronger boys its just not the same now. Current year is beta azz dads raised beta azz sons who are programmed to succumb to online “chad” (aka fat sweaty 30 year old basement dweller) telling him he is a worthless pussy constantly and the kid believes it because his father gave in decades ago.
