Lol chit, yeah same here, I grew out my hair around that age too 'cause I just didn't want to go to the barber but people legit thought I was a girl.

Then I got older and got facial hair too so thought I'd try it again but the facial hair doesn't even help if somebody saw me from behind, so somebody would see a short skinny person with long hair and probably think it's a girl and then come around and see my face and be weirded out when they find out it's a fukking dude with a beard.

Hope the long hair works for you bro, but since you're 5'11" and muscular I'm sure you'll pull it off just fine, might not even need the facial hair either.

This is why. "It's my hair I can do what I want with it! I don't need long hair to be a woman! I can fight societal expectations!". Same reason why women get fat and are proud of it.

"If you're long haired and slim you're basically a stripper. I'm a strong and independent woman who can be any size, any hair length and work any job".

My GF used to have waist length hair, before we got together and regrets cutting it off now. She did it on a whim, "something different" and knowing how much I acknowledge long hair on a woman is letting it grow back.

And this whole "it's cute" is the equivalent of "You're a nice guy" for haircuts. As in, they don't want to admit that their friends/colleagues hair was better before because "feelings" and the lie just gets perpetuated. Imagine if a guy developed a beer belly, and he asked the guys what they think of it, whether it makes him look more attractive and they said "Looks decent, maybe I'll get a beer belly too". But no we don't do this crap. We say he needs to cut back on the calories if he truly cares about women perceive him.

I banged this Nigerian chick a few years back and it's one thing that made me stop. She had body of a stripper which was amazing but that short hair really bothered me. It definitely crossed my mind that this is a dude's haricut. Like wtf it felt wrong. That and she had some weird chemical smell going on that probably has something to do with her hair being that short. It was gross. I ghosted her.

If I'd be a chick I'd also cut it short, long hair seem kinda annoying to maintain.
