All of this can be explained through the facade of corporate culture. Within the corporate environment you are not allowed to voice your opinion unless it is politically correct and guaranteed not to offend someone.

Because of this culture, employees are not comfortable to speak up against the perceived agenda and would rather just let the company take a hit rather than be personally impacted. Senior execs that make these marketing decisions are swayed by yes men and virtue signallers and really are disconnected with reality.

It was truly sickening and they would bring us to the main lobby and everyone in the building would leave their desks to go watch the new marketing videos sometimes. Also, this is legit the BEST way you could let Mercedes HQ know theyre ****ing up. if you complain to the dealerships, the dealerships will complain to HQ and trust me that is the first thing we are notified by. All they care about is making the dealerships happy.
