I dated some crossfit instructor (they very definition of a fitness sloot) for a couple months; she was also a bartender and "working on her degree" at age 29. So many red flags...won't even get into all of it. I got her a birthday gift and she straight-up said she didn't know if she wanted to spend any more time with me because I was nicer than anyone else she had dated in the past, so I basically said well **** off then and never talked to her again.

Contrast this with some of the female college athletes I dated...night and day. Most of them were actually really cool and liked the fact a dude wasn't intimidated by them. But they spent A LOT of time working out to the point that an actual relationship was pretty difficult.

When I first met my wife, she was into swimming and running (did marathons, was on a competitive swim team). I got her into lifting because I had a rack in my garage and it was an excuse for her to hang out with me more. Contrast that with this basketball player I was into...practice every day, early as f workouts at the school gym, when we go out doesn't want to drink or eat anything remotely bad because it's against team policy, etc. Just got way too annoying to keep up with. Had I been playing myself at the time, probably would have been much easier to deal with.
