Love southern culture. Lived on the gulf coast for many years. But yeah, the rich kids try to "cowboy up" and end up fraudin'.

I have to admit, I was one of those dudes in college srs. I didn't join a frat though, because I didn't like them even back then.

I still wear Patagucci sometimes (no homo). No boat shoes though. I wear boots + jeans or Brooks running shoes if I'm wearing shorts. That new age country music is hot garbage though srs. If it aint George Jones, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams or Waylons Jennings I got sum bad news

99% of people would be "one of the dudes" if they went to college in the south. Southern college chicks are THE HOTTEST girls. Period. And they fukin love trucks, their dog, and Florida Georgia Line. Idgaf man I will wear the costume if it means I can get inside them sweet sugar walls. I have been in the south my whole life and this new hic hop culture is silly and cringe, but it can be fun too. Get smashed off cheap beer, play cornhole, get on a boat with HBBs. They are southern wannabes and most of them haven't ever seen a bail of hay or been on a farm. But who cares man those sloots are it. I'd rather play a pretend hick than wear skinny jeans, mascara, and paint my finger nails black.

However, i used to live in jacksonville (fl) for a little bit. And my friend went to unf, was in a frat..

They were ALWAYS dressed like that. Always found it funny how they all fell into the little paradigm. Colorful shorts, boat shoes/ a few other things, fishing shirts or popped collars, sunglasses with that little thing around their neck lol.. Literally all the fuken time

It's not even southern culture. Its wannabe hick culture. There's tons of them here but they all live in town and never worked on a farm, just drive lifted trucks that their parents financed.

H-town resident, G-town frequent checking in. Columbia, Simms, Magellen fishing gear are to keep cool in 100 degree 50% humidity.

The Superduty trucks are to do some serious work or have some serious fun. Big trucks mean we just wont die when we run over those deer, coyotes or liberals on the road, those are just speed bumps.

We have nice expensive coolers because we use them while we do real ****, like keep our beer and food cold in those 40hr fishing trips offshore, or working in remote areas where we don't have electricity just generators.

As for Camo and boots, we like them plain and simple. We got steel toes boots for work, beat up boots to party and fancy exotics to dress up with. Our boat shoes are great to just slip off and run into the sand and fish a little.

If you ever are blessed to be in Texas, stop by a Buc-ee's a grab yourself a treat. There is no place like Texas!!!

Ya ... southern culture sucks....

Historically per capita more people from the south and rural regions have served to protect this country.

Been to almost all 50 states and southern people are by far more inviting, giving, friendly, and kind than the rest of the country.

Grew up in SE VA. Note current location.

Know what the difference between the north and south is?

The accent.

Legit lol'd at first picture with Patagonia and fleece. That's just about every male here from the months of September through May. Change the second pic from "Roll Tide" to "Go Cuse" and the elephant to a donkey and it's the same chit OP.

Fuggin A, fish East Bay all the time, Matagorda when it's right and way out offshore when it's flat. Drinking beer on the beach when were not fishing.

Huntin way down south deer, dove, quail, hogs, eating what we kill or caught.

Camo and boots for the cactus and mesquite. Magellen and Columbia boat shoes for the boat.

I've usually got something hitched up to my ride whether a boat or RV. I prefer driving off the pavement so 4x4 ready for when it rains or the sand gets loose.

Pretty sure if it wasn't for southern and rural people this country would grind to a halt. I've never met one liberal doing any kind of significant hands on ranching, farming, or oil/gas work.
