Didnt look crazy to me. I dont think anyone knew what was going on for the first few seconds. He wasnt looking when the stabbing happened. Prob heard the scream, looked at kid, saw a fat woman next to the kid, brain processed "woman would not hurt a child", mom screams and then he chases her. Vid stops. Who knows what happened after

I'm not going to argue the alpha/beta point because it's silly.

Speaking for myself, my visceral reaction to seeing the video is that the father should do everything in his power to be a protector. We can even take away the parent/son dynamic and speak on the defenseless child getting attacked.

What do you do in that situation, you ask...I think we all as 'good' humans would like to think that we would sacrifice our well being for the sake of protecting an innocent child. So when I watch a father get backed down by the person that just stabbed his child, it's difficult to have any sympathy for him. Would I react differently? I don't know. But to watch that still makes me think damn it be a man and ****ing go savage on the attacker.
