Just returned from a week in HK. Didn't see a single incident. So easy to avoid and get on with your life.

You've probably never even left your country before. Yet you pontificate like you're on the ground. Fukk out of here with your ignorant ****.

Police caught on camera planting metal rod as evidence, as opposed to the PVC stick that the shot protester was using.

Let's be real, don't shift the blame. It is ENTIRELY Hong Kong communist and Chinese communist fault for this teenage to get shoot. The government is a dictator and it's not listening to its people. Don't even pretend that it's the protesters' fault to get shoot. It IS the corrupted police using excessive force to shoot a teenage.

If the police didn't use the above police brutality FOR 3 MONTHS, the teens would never act this way. Better yet, if the government listen to the citizens, none of this will happen.

Remember the protest happened first time with 1+ million protesters went out peacefully, the government said it will still pass the bill. Even the second time with 2 million, the government still wouldn't completely withdraw the bill.

Thank god for the heroes these past months, the bill is finally planned to be withdrawn. The fight is far from over though, Hong Kong people is fighting the good fight.

5 demands, not 1 less

1. Complete withdrawal of the extradition bill from the legislative process
2. Retraction of the "riot" characterisation
3. Release and exoneration of arrested protesters
4. Establishment of an independent commission of inquiry into police conduct and use of force during the protests
5. Resignation of Carrie Lam and the implementation of universal suffrage for Legislative Council and Chief Executive elections

The boy shot was using a PVC pipe and NOT a Metal Rod, you can see the hallow space inside

He was accused of attacking with a metal rod by the police.

was anyone shot by a live round while protesting peacefully? the fault is entirely on the kid for attacking a riot cop. lmao...i swear.

i agree the ccp has had a hand in controlling the cops/govt...but up to this point, not a single person has been shot by a live round in like 2-3 months of violent rioting. look at how many people died in singapore or france from protesting.

attack ccp's ideals. don't attack the cops who's job is to stop rioting and hooliganism if you don't want to get shot.

Very clear that the police is corrupted WITH CCP IDEALS and the teen is very admirable. Otherwise the above would have happen to other protesters. These are not police, they are CCP's controlling machines to silence democracy and freedom.

HK "police"'s job isn't to stop protesters, they are to attack protesters now day to bring terror to citizens so no one will protest anymore

New York Times? lol might as well post something from CNN. Anyway, those are nice edited videos. In every edited video I watch, it looks like the police are at fault, and in every unedited video I watch, it looks like the opposite. Just look at the two videos in the OP. When I first heard about the "protests" a few months back, I went to youtube to watch some videos of said protests and in the very first video I saw (unedited), the rioters tackled a policeman to the ground and were trying to beat the chit out of him. These police are risking serious injury just to get a paycheck and what are these rioters risking when they're in groups of thousands throwing projectiles and Molotov cocktails?

Look, first videos I youtubed just now:

CNA? Might as well post something from China's weibo.

There's clear vids of police working with thugs together and abuse protesters in numerous vids. Anyone with common sense will know, you pretend that they are edited that way.

If they are really justified then have this 4. Establishment of an independent commission of inquiry into police conduct and use of force during the protests - this is a demand of 2 million+ protesters

Lifted millions out of poverty? You do know that the Chinese government decides what is the poverty line right? Making a few dollars above the so called poverty threshold doesn't make anyone well off.

Also China doesn't need to fire at other countries because it routinely fires upon its own people. You just don't see it because of the Chinese Government. Also China routinely invests in other countries by swamping them in loans and then they steal what they built for that country.

Come on mane, you can't be this lost. China is a communist ****hole and the only reason you don't know that is because they routinely hide stuff. I recommend you watch China Uncensored on youtube. You won't be disappointed.

BRB, comparing reasonable democracy demands with a silly unreasonable demand. Logic not even once.

If the police did nothing wrong, then just establish of an independent commission of inquiry into police conduct and use of force during the protests. This will clean the police's reputation(which at least 2 millions living in HK out of 7 millions don't trust anymore) and make the protesters happy. Win-win situation.

OK. So, because the government's bad and because maybe some police were overly violent (according to you) in the past, 100% of the HK police force should be able to be beaten by any group of civilians at any time without repercussion. Got it.

2000+ has been arrested and will be charged. But if you will arrest these protesters, please do also establish of an independent commission of inquiry into police conduct and use of force during the protests.

Oh, and the teenage shot is being charged with riot by the corrupted government.

What we have here is that the police can do anything to the protesters without repercussion

Anyone with logic and common sense will know that cheeseburger sure is unreasonable compare to the demands below -4. Establishment of an independent commission of inquiry into police conduct and use of force during the protests

That reminds me, North Korea sure will approve the way hk police treating these pro-democracy protesters. How lovely that China has a great international world-loving peaceful ally North Korea.

Win-win situation.
dude, you live in an echo chamber of protesters. # of people literally disagreeing with you on an anti-china MAGA forum like the misc should tell you something.

no one here wants ccp influence. no one here likes communism. but we can call out bullchit when we see it. and the fact you blame the cop in this instance is absolutely ridiculous. stop physically attacking people and you'll get more support. i don't care if a cop pushed someone during a patrol or hit a protester as they gave chase.

when you resist arrest you deserve to get tuned up. when you run, you deserve to get tuned up, when you beat cops with weapons, you deserve to get tuned up. When you gang beat a cop on the ground, you deserve to be shot. instances of cops abusing their power do exist and i agree with you that it should be punishable. but it's rare, especially when there is live streaming 24/7 over there for 4+ months!

a commission may come in the future. in the meantime, i suggest you guys stick to civil disobedience.

That reminds me, North Korea sure will approve the way hk police treating these pro-democracy protesters. How lovely that China has a great international world-loving peaceful ally North Korea.
Lol never heard anyone get so bent out of shape over a cheeseburger. I'm laughing my ass off here. Better not tell me it's an unreasonable demand again - I might just throw a Molotov cocktail at you!
