If I had 10B, I'd invest it so that it would generate money forever, then spend the majority of my time helping various people around the world. Don't get me wrong, I'd buy a lambo, a HBB trophy wife and a house on a cliff face, but I'd prefer being charitable over partying my years away.

Honestly the first thing I do is set up endowments for St. Jude, Shriners Hospital and any other children's hospitals I believe in. I give a decent endowment to make a wish and Ronald McDonald.
Then I would probably give money to some local schools.
Then after all that I would start living.
I would buy a nice piece of property and build a family compound. That way my boys would have a free place to live the rest of their life. Essentially I would have a main house. Then further back on the property I would build two more houses one for each of them. Far enough away from me that they and their families don't feel like I'm right there but close enough that they can pop in the main house anytime they want.
That's my biggest dream.

Invest billions into research regarding sustainable organic syntropic agriculture. Then i would use that research and those experts to develop a self sustainable agriculture network in a small, remote impoverished country.
Imagine taking let say, Burkina Faso or someplace like that and making them 100% self sustainable and establishing a network of farms and seed banks so they have abundant food resources. Cuba managed to do something like that after the fall of the soviet union. When they were being funded by the soviet union they had mechanized industrial farming of only sugar cane, to produce sugar to export to the ussr. In return they would get oil, other crops and money.
After the fall of the soviet union they had no oil to run their tractors or fertilizers or anyway to keep their industrialized large scale monocrop farming. They also lacked the grain exports to feed their own population. So they took it as a national crisis and completely changed the agricultural field into a network of small, urban farms in derelict lots and everywhere. Now after years of effort that are completely self sustainable with thousands of small organic farms feeding their local populations. That's why even with the scarcity they remain healthy and well fed (even more so than the US for example)
So yes, I would throw billions into that

lol at the *******s that are going to invest the money to make a ROI, this is 10 billion we are talking about, you dont need to invest ****, and it will take a hell lot of work to make a significant return on 10 billion if you dont already have a multi billion company and starting from scratch. Hell you can actually lose money trying to invest mayority part of 10 billion.
Sure you can still invest and make millions profit, but at this point its just pocket change , anything significant not worth the hassle unless its something you want to invest for personal reasons instead of ROI.

would build a large garage with 3-4 lifts and get and get all tools i would possibly need and work on my toys/modify cars and maybe learn how to become real good at fabricating metal..maybe even turn it into a high performance car shop.
