In Star Wars The Old Republic, I managed to go out of bounds on Korriban and jumped all the way to where those giant statues are standing. Turns out there's no collision detection there, so you'll fall right through and die.

Did that when I was 16, too (sort of). Was on vacation with my relatives at the time. I spent the entire week learning how to swim decently and hanging out at the hotel resort gym with my older cousin (2nd cousins). When we were driving back home to my house, everyone decided to stop near a river for some lunch. The water current was pretty strong, but just enough for a swimmer to be able to swim against it. I was barely able to do it without losing a lot of energy, but my cousin had no trouble. My little cousins were there too (both 12) and were hanging around the bank. As I got out, I heard one of my cousins shouting "help!" so I ran up to where the sound was and saw them in the river trying hard to fight against the current.

My instincts kicked in so I jumped in the water and tried to save them both, one in each arm. Now I'm sure you're thinking "what a dumbass, should have asked for help." but I was a 16 yo artard and my mind was mush. Here I was trying to make sure both of their heads were above water while fighting against the river. My energy was depleting faster than I thought and 15-20 seconds later I was yelling for help also. Good thing my uncle wasn't too far away and ran up and got one of the boys out while I got the other one to shore. Yeah, I got scolded a bit for not calling for help earlier. Sometimes I think about what would have happened if no one heard or noticed us there. It's easy to talk chit about a situation when you are the outside observer, but when you're in the thick of it, everything changes.

as far as things I've done, but didn't put any effort into, is chit like this

Told my parents I was going to college for a whole year (2001 to 2002) and left in the morning and came back late afternoon, but actually left the course after a few days and spent the rest of the year just wondering round the streets of Leamington, which is where the college was, killing time. My Dad found out in Sept 2002 and spoke to me about it. I think he was more mind-boggled and disappointed than all out enraged.

I hurt my own prospects more than anything as I basically wasted a year acting like that.

Please, has ANYONE ever done something like this^^^ before?

Catapult off of an aircraft carrier in a cargo plane

Left off of a cruise as part of an early crew to get back to shore and tidy things up for the squadron and was able to fly off the carrier. Talk about a rush. Was cool asf and scary at same time.

Went paddling downriver on January 1, after partying through the night. From just before sunrise to just after sunset.
The river wasn't frozen, but part of the boat and the steering lines did.
Cycling, walking, swimming.
No car.
