I understand not going into debt for a car. I understand not buying because they're depreciating assets. It's like a 10/10 sloot. You know you won't get to smash, but you'll still fap over her pics. To not have zero interest in any type of car, mind = blown. And some dudes are clueless, my sister's boyfriend was asking me what car should he buy and I'm like uwot, how do you not know the basics? The questions I get asked or the things dudes say.

And it's not even about the speed or sounds, those are just a part of it. There's just something about the mechanics of it, the little intricate parts all working together in unison. The engine, transmission, suspension, electronics, etc. After riding horse and buggy, some dudes got together and created this **** allowing use to go crazy distances. A 2 hour ride to the grocery store turned into 10 minutes. Then bootleggers modded a car to get away from the copers which then turned into Nascar today.
Idk, I just like human inventions in general and the automobile is one of them.

I don't care just as long as it's a reliable car.
Lately though I've taken an interest in fixing my car.
Obviously saves money, but I really like the feeling of accomplishment when you discover, diagnose and fix a problem.
Also wanna point out the term "human inventions" is one of the stupidest things I've read.
As opposed to what? Animal inventions?

Believe it or not, most guys don't even drive much, and usually start driving a lot when they get married, have kid, and are forced into the role of "soccer dad" who drives a mini-van.
It's sad, because cars are one of the coolest things on the planet. Especially in that they are a masculine focused hobby/interest.

Because there is nothing really exciting about street legal cars? They're turds for the most part. A 3k used sport bike will dust just about any exotic. And street legal riced up cars can barely go anywhere, they get defeated by tiny speed humps and steep driveways. You can't even run from the cops if you see one shooting radar at you. On a bike you just turn down a bike path or tiny alley where the cop can't follow, you don't even have to go fast. Truck for everyday utility, bike for fun. But you car guys probably can't even work a clutch on a bike.

Maybe like a Tesla just for the fact it could save so much money.
Driving isn't that big of a deal to me, like if I hit the lotto I'd probably be driving a "regular" car.

Theyre all fun and games until you have to learn how they work.

How did you have no idea? You retarded or something? You made it through high school and life thus far without recognizing some people don't care about cars and the thought just dawned on you as 2019 comes to a close?

Car addict since I was a kid here. Other kids playing with gi joes, brb hot wheels and I'm making cammed v8 sounds with my mouth lol.
I've blown so much money on cars. Looking back, before getting into financing anything/putting money down I'd spent 40k on cash cars.
I made money back on them when I sold them but damn.
And here I am now rocking a Frontier setup for overlanding that I've owned since december and I'm already itching for something new. Still capable but cheaper so I can keep crushing debt/buy land.
I always laugh at the get your kids into cars memes. They really won't be able to afford drugs lol
