Sadly my country is semi-cucked; though we have a low gun circulation so it's really rare any intruders would have a firearm. I have a proper blade for the unlucky person(s) who decides they should threaten my home and life.

Yes. Loaded and chambered pistol ON the night stand. Lock bedroom door each night. If someone is kicking it in I have enough time to react.

Keep a loaded 1911 .45 in a quick access fingerprint gun safe on my night stand (I have kids , no choice ) and a good old Louisville Slugger tucked away next to the bed. First line of defense is my 100lb Chocolate Lab who absolutely does not like to be woke up in the middle of the night... lol

Of course, when I finally realized that a simple pepper spray has no power over my wife's desire, her inner flame of primordial passion. Since my purpose wasn't to kill her with silver bullet so a gun wasn't my choice of weapon.

I bought a chemical fire extinguisher instead and always keep it within my reach.

You know "Love is the Drug" and that means it's a chemical thing.

It's handy especially on a night of full moon.

You should try it sometimes. It keeps you young. I mean that every man could use a beauty sleep once in a while.

You say that now, but it’s funny how fast you stop caring about earpro when you have an intruder inside and your ak pistol is the closest thing available

Sub-2000 in the guest room on top of the armoire.

AR under my bed.

PLR-16 behind my suits in the closet.

Ultra Carry II on the shelf above my suits in the closet.

Bersa (lul) .380 above the refrigerator in the kitchen.

Glock 19 in my truck.

All of my longer rifles hang out in my gun safe, although I suppose I could find them a home throughout the house.

Im not too worried about it, I dont carry that gun and if I go to the range I have 4 10 rounders to use. Theres been what, 1 maybe 2 arrests having to do with magazine restrictions since 2012, and those were just tacked on to other more serious offenses. If I have to shoot at someone unlawfully entering my home because I cant escape, having 5 more boolits in my mag will be the last thing on my mind.

Having said that, my EDC pistol is a 938, which is a 6+1 single stack 9mm.

Lots of gun owners sleeping with a weapon close by. But has anyone taken a class on Low Light Structural Defense, Defensive Carbine, or Defensive Pistol? If the fight comes to you, training might just keep you alive.

You'll also be dealing with your neighbors and family after you've shot all of them as a few sheetrock walls don't stop or even slow 7.62 rounds. That's not a good home defense weapon.

Walther PPQ on the nightstand.

If picking one from the closet, I'd go with my CZ scorpion. Currently Loaded with 32 rounds of 147g Federal HST hollow points.

I've never had a single issue in the US that would require me to defend myself in any fashion. I live in a nice neighborhood where the only thing I have to worry about is my old ass neighbor across the street taking pictures of my car and sending it to the HOA if I double park for even 1 minute. Yet I still keep a loaded gun in a safe by my bed. It's lovely to not have to need it, but on the off chance that I do need it, I'd rather have it.

All the cucks here talking about they're glad they don't live in a shyt hole need to read about the Night Stalker and the BTK killer.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
