40% of US women are obese and another 30% are overweight, meaning the competition for just a normal-sized female in the US is massive.

Srs though I think the heavier weights are concentrated around major American-like cities like Toronto and Vancouver

Maybe places like Montreal and Nova Scotia has a lower average

Average height girls (5"5-6") should not exceed 135lbs and this includes those who train.

Hope these chicks are at least 5"10.

If not, it is no wonder why HTC exists in great numbers. Slim pickings indeed.

That's pretty crazy. A massive shift just within our lifetimes.

I remember as a teenager I was so freaked out by the thought of getting fat that I went anorexic instead. That wasn't a smart move, but, like... I wasn't totally wrong about the environment I was living in.

LOL that's Marcelo Garcia, arguably the greatest BJJ competitor of all time. He can get a lil chubby sometimes, I guess. That's a pic of him awarding me my blue belt.

Why do none of you idiots read my username? SHEsprints. I'm a woman.

Wonder how this breaks down demographic wise. Half of Americans make 30k a year or less as full time workers. Upper middle class and above women or who are from an upper middle class and above family probably aren't overweight/obese.

When are they gonna finally change BMI to measure bf% and not weight? Doesn’t matter how much you weigh, according to the BMI I’m vastly overweight, yet my bf% is 12% and I’m more fit than people that aren’t overweight. It doesn’t matter how much you weigh, it’s all about bf%.
Currently 6’2” 212 lbs
Maxes
Deadlift - 420x1
Squat - 375x1
Bench press - 345x1
Overhead press - 245x1

For the individual, yes, BMI is crap, but for large populations it is generally indicative.

For natty women it's unquestionably (based on my understanding of women's maximum attainable fat free mass) accurate.

For men maybe less so, maybe move the upper limit of "normal" to 27.

I get the arguments against the BMI but it def applies to the average person who most like have a sedentary lifestyle. The vast majority of people don't workout and have a low bf%. The U.S. is filled with fat ****s. It is what it is.

I’m out of here, gonna go post on a real forum with users that actually lift weights and are serious about it. You just lost me and a whole bunch of other good posters. Congratulations jackasses if the misc. **** this place, bye

I’m right, bf% is the only measurement worth a ****. If you disagree you’re wrong and retarded as ****. Bf% matters, weight doesn’t. End of discussion. If you disagree you’re retarded and should kill yourself.
