I think he made a mistake when he took off Valero and replaced him with a striker but there were no midfielders on the bench. Cant blame the effort but damn Lukaku screwed us big time. That miss 1v1 was in the end the difference for me. At this stage in a crunch game you've got to be clutch and he is not. 65-75 million on this guy and he costs the club that extra UCL dough. Guys like Lautaro,Barella,Sensi are carrying this team and with the latter 2 injured this was always going to be an uphill task. He needs to win the league though and if he doesn't then its a huge problem. Also need a few reinforcements in January.

Lol k. I'd like to see you try something like that. Bet it would end up with your teeth being knocked out after you plant your face in the ground.

That's also like saying Man Utd are not a big club either because of their current situation.. The only thing less appealing to managers about the club is that they have to fix ALOT of their issues and some won't be able to do that. Both teams need a big revamp and some coaches will know that if they don't get the funds etc then they could be sacked and it could damage their reputation but that doesn't mean the team still isn't a "big club".
Hmmm. But when have they not been in ****? They haven't won the EPL in 16 years now. They've never won the UCL.They have 1 European trophy in all of their history.Yes they are a respectable club in England and for about a decade from the mid 90s to the mid 00s you could say they were Englands Number 2 club. Now at present they are Englands 6th club.

I could never say that about United because Utd have 3 UCL trophies and have won both the Uefa Cup/EL and Cup Winners Cup.Yes the destinies of clubs change with time and there is always a cycle where a club will struggle whilst at other times it will be on top.But for Arse the struggles are now about to enter 2 decades. They have been on a downward spiral from somewhere around 2006 in my book and they have never looked like correcting course.

Also unlike Arse Utd have the ability to go and spend huge amounts of money on an established star like Pogba.Arse never go and buy the worlds best in his position. The likes of Aubameyang,Lacazette were top players but definitely not the best players in the world when they arrived.

Arse don't behave like a big club.Big Clubs are also relative and yes subjective. They change from time to time.If this was 2002 i'd agree with you but right now Arse are the 3rd club of London.Arse have consistently sold off their best players and that's generally been their captain. Not having the ability to even hold onto your captain on a regular basis since Vieria surely has to be shameful and not something a Big Club does. And all these captains have wanted out of Arse to go to bigger clubs to win trophies.Vieria,Henry,Cesc,RVP all left because they were dissatisfied with the club not behaving like a "big club".Else they wouldn't have left.

So when Arse fans say they should go and get Allegri I scoff at those delusions because a guy like Allegri in this market will go to the Tier 1 royalty of European football - City,Utd,Liverpool and maybe Chelsea in England , Real or Barca in Spain [Barca philosophy wont match with his and so he wont go there], Bayern in Germany,PSG in France and most likely nobody in Italy but back to Juve or with an outside chance a Milan or Inter provided the Milan clubs give him huge salary and a big transfer kitty. For Arse the conditions would be the same - give him a huge salary and a huge transfer budget. But Arse have never in their history done those.Hence why I think this is delusional from their fans.Ofcourse if they were to show this sort of ambition they could be counted as a Big Club but then that club has been missing in ambition since about 2006 so ……..

Bayern president Hainer told in an interview today they absolutely don't support the idea of the European Superleague and will always support the Bundesliga and the European club competitions for international successes

not surprised by this but it's nice to see it clearly stated in print

please **** off with that ESL plan already srsly

I love how no one is talking about Leicester City. They're the ones Liverpool have to keep an eye on. I'm sure LFC will drop points and City are capable of making a run but the chase could be on for LCFC.

they might be the biggest contender to become best of the rest but I don't think Liverpool has to keep an eye out for any team

they're just on another level and even if they have a dip (which is bound to happen) they still have this 10+ point lead which is huge

This is the biggest load of nonsense lol. Arsenal are a huge club. They dont carry European weight but neither do a lot of clubs, like Man City, Chelsea recently, etc etc. You think Barca was heavy in Europe until the last few decades?
Arsenal in England is a huge club lol. 3rd most league titles etc etc most fa cups i believe.

Point is that your Allegri and Simeone would kill to come to a club like Arsenal. They would come to the club, but they will not come to a club with a poor leadership like is being displayed. The mentioned managers are winners and want to win, they know they wont get cash/support etc from the leadership so why come. They would come for the club, just not the leadership. Lol if you think otherwise.

Interesting to see how Wenger managed all of this. Every press conference, every poach by rival clubs. He was faulty but certainly managed things the best way he could in every essence of the word.

Real dominating the game but unfortunately didn’t manage to score. Both teams had the chance to do so for sure.
Lol at spending 5 minutes looking at a header which clearly wasn’t there and then not even checking twice for penalties which should have been called for Real (one for sure), in the first half.
