Glad he got in before it ended. He won't make chit next year, but that's enough to be set for life.

YouTube got slapped with a 170M fine by the FCC and had to agree with some stipulations..
Starting in January 2020, if creators mark a video as directed at kids, data collection will be blocked for all viewers, resulting in lower ad revenue, and those videos will lose some of the platform's most popular features, including comments and end screens.
It is not so much the major events as the small day-to-day decisions that map the course of our living. . . Our lives are, in reality, the sum total of our seemingly unimportant decisions and of our capacity to live by those decisions. ― Gordon B. Hinckley

One of the few kids things on YouTube we refuse to let our girls watch.

"Today we're opening 30 new toys and 50 surprise eggs!" Yeah no.

YouTube is cancer. I stopped letting my daughter watch it when she asked for goochy shoes. Where did she learn about that? YouTube. These programs are brainwashing a whole new generation of vapid consumers

It's always better to censor kids, rather than teach them to use logic to deduce why it might not be smart to buy "goochy" shoes.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

We have adults that are miserable because of social media making them feel inadequate. YouTube is social media for children.

What are the benefits of letting your impressionable children watch videos of other children living unattainable lives?

They watch enough of that garbage and your words mean nothing eventually.

Yes, you would have to be an idiot to not censor your kids.

i don't like it because we're a poor family and ryan has like a huge ass luxury house that we'll never have. so it's like selling lies or dreams that are unattainable

I mean I agree with your point but I disagree with even letting my kids have any screen time at all during the week. They get two hours a day on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and that’s it. And it’s sure as hell not gonna be youtube.

I don’t really consider it censoring, it’s just not ok to regularly sit on your ass and watch a screen so we don’t do it.

i think youtube increases ADD symptoms or something because when I was like 6 y/o I was playing chess, advanced video games, magic the gathering, all sorts of different board games, legos; whilst my little sister who's 6 y/o can barely last 15 minutes playing a board game. gonna try teaching her chess

but what do we know. when these kids are our age, it could be a totally different world. much more technologically advanced. maybe early knowledge of computers and tablets technology and **** could be beneficial

unattainable for her as a kid. she has like 4 years until she's a pre-teen. we ain't moving to a house anytime soon I can say for sure

when a kid asks for a house, not gonna happen with a low-income family living paycheck to paycheck living in vancouver.

for some families maybe they could pull through, but mine nope, my dad's already in his 60's, i'm disabled too can't work in maybe 2 years lol i seriously really wish i could

This is not a lie, youtube is a platform dominated by kids, if you wanna be successful on it, try to do something that kids or pre-teens at least can watch.

Brb letting my three month old watch pornhub.

Give me a break guy. Choosing not to have your child consume mindless and useless media isn't censorship, it's good common sense parenting. Should I just let my kid eat ice cream for breakfast and **** too?
