Ordered my first handgun today. Will be picking up a Sig P226r 9mm Tuesday. Can't wait to get my hands on it and to take a trip to the range.
Any recommendations on what I should pick up with it? Planned on getting about 250-500 rounds of ammo to take to the range, a holster, some ear protection and glasses. Maybe a couple extra magazines?

The dealer where I purchase my guns said that M&P sales are down big time. I can get most Gen 4 9mm Glocks at blue label pricing 399.

For chest rigs, if you want more of a simple "pack" . . . check out Hill People Gear. I picked up a Snubby pack to use for biking/hiking and I like it. But they have other/larger kits.

So that out of the lol woods + pistol + chest rig = holster for the pistol that's comfortable and accessible while wearing a pack with shoulder and waist attachments covering up real estate. Not the tactical kind of chest rig that might carry plates and rifle mags and skittle refills
