I thought it was very obvious by the way she was writing that she was trying very carefully to take any blame away from her. Hard to describe exactly what she was doing but she was writing in a very peculiar manner. A manner I have seen before where someone is trying to deflect blame. Almost as if they are thinking step by step what to write instead of just writing.
