True, but they didn't have internet/social media/dating apps and people's social interactions consisted of actual human contact, and they couldn't/didn't band together online to perpetually bring/keep down each other.


The internet gave every village idiot a megaphone/camera with world-wide coverage.


So imo the roots of the problems and the problems remained the same, but the technology turned them up to eleven.

Wouldn't a person want to be in denial about their deficiencies and think of themselves a bit better that what they actually are, a little prettier and bit smarter than reality just to cope. Why would anyone want to dwell on that and find a group like that where everyone seems pathetic? Wouldn't you be like, no I'm not gonna be like that.

It seems that those people already are depressed in the first place and not that them being less attractive made them depressed.

But then I'm not sure about the autistic people or people who can't be sociable. If a person always makes others uncomfortable and nobody wants to be around you, it would be tough because you'd always have to try to adjust your behavior what you'd think would be acceptable.

Childhood and adolescent obesity definitely has this effect as well. You internalize it. Hard to shake even after the weight comes off

A lot of the points or advice above are just deluded or conjecture or wishful thinking. Incels are a real thing. The reason you see it so prominently is not forums or incels recognizing each other but because of social-media/dating apps.

dating apps have become more likely to influence dating choices, not necessarily Tinder but probably ********. You are much more likely to be aware of your friends' friends who are single. I bet a legit Chad on ******** has tons of messages from acquaintences.

So it made it much more likely for most men to be overlooked. Women can choose men like choosing a pair of shoes. Why wouldn't she choose the best option out of 50?

Incels don't have to approach random people, they have to meet new people. Big difference.

Volunteering, meetups, hobbies, networking w/ coworkers, bars, clubs, traveling, joining clubs at school, etc.

Pretty much anything that puts you in contact with more people leads to more chances to get laid.

Same thing with depression support and all that jazz. Its like the blind leading the blind.

When i think about it, id say no. Because on some level it will provide some comfort for them which may be the support

However, from that point you need to take the extra step to get out of that rut. This is where im guessing most fail.

I try to go to the bar but my friends never invite me, even when I ask them to invite me. A lot of folks are just not invited to places to hangout.

Also sometimes incels DO go out and talk to people but women are just not interested. Sometimes a guy talks to a girl and the girl just does not talk back. The conversation fizzes out and it gets to the point where the female just answers the male's questions without making a conversation. What can "incels" do about this?

There are always multiple factors when it comes to something like this. But this is something I've noticed and pointed out before as well. A lot of incel miscers, as well as the ones who are serious about "sloots gonna sloot," seem to have been raised by slooty single mothers and/or beta fathers who got cucked repeatedly. I am going to ask one of my friends at work if he wants to workout with me this week. What if he says no? Is that MY fault?Am I a bad person for that?
