Best decision I made in my life. Will be 3 years on April 7th. =)
Edit: My parents were married over 50 years before they died.

married 13 years in June. Chit is weird...Never thought I'd ever be bonded with someone like this. The thought of going one day without her completely blows my mind.

Happily married with children and wouldn’t have it any other way. Each year thay goes by I look around more and more and think to myself “damn I’m glad I found a good woman before the world reached this current environment”.

Little bit over a year so far. A lot of work but has been rewarding.
If this doesn't work then I will never get married again. Way less stressful just taking care of myself.
Sounds bad but Im not gonna put it on a pedestal and act like its the best thing ever. It is work and can get very rough at times. Not gonna lie to people who ask about it.

for a long time, we didn't even plan on getting married, but our respective grandparents were getting quite old and we decided to get married while they were still alive
we were committed regardless, the ceremony was really for our family
with that said, we're both glad we did it

I enjoy her and our family we have built, we help each other out, push each other to do better, workout/compete in bb shows together. I do need some time to myself every now and then though.

23.5 years. A great marriage. I've been extremely lucky. She's sane, a great wife, still likes me and looks fantastic. We've built a nice thing. We have 2 boys, and raising kids is a challenge. But they're our kids and we're a team.
The older you get, the more set in your ways you are. You want life simpler not more complex. When you remarry, you're not only getting the new spouse, you're getting their baggage as well. I don't want their debt, or have my life complicated by their kids. You will never going to be number 1 on their priority list. The kids will always come first and I think that causes a lot of tension when there are interfamily issues with kids.
If I was widowed, met a nice woman and she gave me the ultimatum, I'd say "don't let the door hit you on the way out."
