One thing you have to understand about the FA posters here is that they are all painfully introverted and high inhibition. Those things are a killer if you're a man when it comes to dating. These dudes haven't had any success dating when younger which killed their confidence and created a snowball effect. I was always really confident because I was athletic, tall, made good grades, came from a "good" family (or at least as people thought of them) and actually believed I was good looking. Confidence leads to success which leads to more confidence

Well from your earlier thread you are obviously an attractive, fit woman so it shouldn't be hard to find a man that meets your requirements. The rub is that most of us assume that these women on reddit look like the ones from the meet up pic ie. busted face, giant fupa, morbidly obese, that gets postedandon top of that their requirements are even more stringent than the ones you've posted

I get it - whales having unrealistic requirements would be pretty upsetting.

I suppose you would be correct about the 30% of the population comment if my appearance qualifications were high on my want requirement list. But on the contrary - my 'appearance' qualifications are pretty limited as long as they aren't some fugly monster that I can't get a lady boner for. I will happily take the average looking dude that has those qualifications than a Channing Tatum in Magic Mike form with things on my deal breaker list.

My current bf, never played any sports - doesn't lift. He's a tall chunky ass dude that's allergic to exercise. His hobbies include drones, 3d printers, building go-karts, rocket launching, designing **** on his laser printer & works his ass off building his business. To be honest I would have probably never even considered dating him if it wasn't for how persistent and funny he was. We are the same person in different shells. Had I been my shallow former self - I would have missed out.

I use to be very shallow - I was with the rich trust fund baby that was the 10/10 chad type. 6'6 (way too tall btw) athletic, he slooted around plenty before me, smart & funny for a good 5 years. In the end - it didn't work out. Maybe it would have if I didn't break it off for my career. I'll never know. I don't do long distance (it's on my deal breaker list).

Honestly looks only takes someone so far.

I've always felt the same way about women. For me its more of a yes/no than out of 10 scale. Meshing with someone is much more important than finding the absolute hottest person that'll have you

Lots of guys struggle with, let's say, being rude and then regretting it or having esteem issues at times in their lives. That's not the same as just being an ass all the time or moping around on a regular basis, which is how I read it.

First reddit bish's list was mainly no-brainer stuff as well. Second bish seemed like a straight up kunt.

A lot of these type of lists have kind of silly content, like no duh, no I don't want to date someone who is in a nursing home. Nobody with full blown AIDS please. Definitely NO p_dos or murderers, not interested thank you!

Yeah, it just sounded unbelievable to me and too misc-cliche'd (like I'm too fitness and perfect and everyone is a degenerate). If her favorite heartthrob celebrity showed up, would she turn him down because he smoked or drank too much? It sounds reasonable, but it's almost like asking for the perfect guy, and giving her description of her boyfriends, her list sounds exaggerated. Not attacking her specifically, just caught my attention.

Yeah well everyone is going to re-think their deal-breakers if the seemingly perfect person comes along. The thing is that these lists are never going to be 100% accurate because life is situational or if theyare100% accurate, they aren't useful e.g. no serial killers.

If her favorite heartthrob celebrity showed up, would she turn him down because he smoked or drank too much? It sounds reasonable, but it's almost like asking for the perfect guy, and giving her description of her boyfriends, her list sounds exaggerated. Not attacking her specifically, just caught my attention.
First I want to say congrats. I hope you stick to it. That's a big deal!

2nd - If my fav celeb heart throb wanted to smash and I was single. I wouldn't give a fuark if he drank too much - if I felt like smashing - letzzzGO. I'm not dating them for the long term.

However I will NOT date or smash a guy that smokes cigarettes. Seriously. I literally don't care how amazing they are - that's a pet peve and something I literally cannot deal with. I find it absolutely disgusting. That's my personal preference which I'm allowed to have. Also if someone had an alcohol problem and was wasted on a tuesday afternoon when they're suppose to be at work or doing something else adult-ish and does this on a regular basis? I will absolutely not put up with that BS either. I'm not talking about going out on a friday night and getting blasted every now and then. I'm talking about a LEGIT problem.

I'm not saying he can't have bad days. I just don't want someone who claims it's raining every fcking day. I've been out on dates with guys like that. No thanks Sam. My day isn't about to be ruined bc I have to hear your BS every single day about some BS you can change but never do chit about it. I'm totally fine with you considering them 'high status men' who have their chit together and some if that's the description you want to add for the list. I hold myself to those same what I think is minimum standards. I know what I bring to the table.

I'm literally thinking about the handful of guy friends that I hang around with on a regular basis and play ball with. They easily meet all these requirements. I really don't think they're that unrealistic where you feel like I'm being so exaggerated and unbelievable. I'm sure incels aside a ton of dudes on here meet these requirements easily.

Lots of guys struggle with, let's say, being rude and then regretting it or having esteem issues at times in their lives. That's not the same as just being an ass all the time or moping around on a regular basis, which is how I read it.

A lot of these type of lists have kind of silly content, like no duh, no I don't want to date someone who is in a nursing home. Nobody with full blown AIDS please. Definitely NO p_dos or murderers, not interested thank you!
That's exactly what I mean - doesn't mean he can't be human. Think 300BLK taking the list too literal.
