Not bad overall. Strowman beating Goldberg and the amazing 80s B movie fight at the end saved the show.

I get that they were in a graveyard so that supposedly gave Taker an edge which AJ wasnt supposed to understand or know but it was a hell of a stretch.

I'll start!

This sucks... ghey affffff. No crowd is garbage. I'm so glad I have a friends network password and am not even paying $10 to see this crap. Vince def shoulda postponed.

Goldberg losing to Braun GARBAGE!! Goldberg is *the* GOAT and this match was complete trash.

AJ/Taker was ok because it was like a movie and we didn't have to see zero fans there. Thought those were druids btw but they were AJ's henchmen. Awfully weak for such a dramatic entrance no?

I fast forwarded so much of this crap show... someone else feel free to fill the rest of us in on any other highlights you may have seen.

I was surprised that 'the man' kept her title, but the way she did it made sense. A win in what should have been a loss... but I'm still on record saying the womens division is garbage with or without fans.

Seth losing to KO wow. Ko is FAT AF and beating a guy like Seth just wow. Must be sucking off Vince or something idk.

I signed up on WWE network. I watched tonight, and will watch tomorrow night. I enjoyed the diversion. I thought that part of the Taker vs AJ Styles match was a little bit "cartoonish", (if you watched it, then you know what I mean), which is something that WWE has done in the past. However, overall, I thought that it was a pretty, good show, considering the circumstances.

Its noteworthy because on any day, 8/10 times, Joe badas$ workout warrior/city boxing gym guy would get slaughtered by the 5 worst mma fighters in a sanctioned match.

And to that fact, it helps build the match since wrestlers with zero mma experience are supposed to be a level or two above what I mentioned above.

Lol I almost agree entirely except I like Lynch. I've always been a fan of hers. I legit seen her in NY 2 years ago and was like what up Lynch and she said she was shocked that I knew who she was...lol.

But she should have dropped the belt forsure. Her gimmick is old. But, rumors are wwe might take 2 weeks off so it wouldn't make sense to remove the title now and no one even remembers in 2 weeks.

I feel asleep and woke up, seen that match on and thought it was one of those wwe straight to DVD movies. I was like damn, I missed most of the show. Then I realized that was the match happening.

As hokey as Undertaker and Styles was, it still wasn’t as ridiculous as watching the wrestlers in-ring pander to a nonexistent crowd with their poses and eye contact. Not sure why they didn’t tell everyone to look directly at the god damn camera for the 100% of the audience watching on a screen.

Didn’t help having someone like JBL either sleeping or fumbling the whole time on commentary. Michael Cole has packed it in completely now, but that’s nothing new. They should keep the commentary crew talking and maybe considered a 3 man team. Really anything to cover some of the awkward silence, no crowd, and over selling by wrestlers with the grunting and moaning.

Sound and video editing was poor at times. Would think with all the setbacks that come with the circumstance that they’d at least make the most of what they can control in a taped show.

Everything said..still not as bad as it could be. Definitely doesn’t have any resemblance of a Wrestlemania feel as was expected and instead feels like it’s own entity. Will come back for part 2 tomorrow and probably be set on my WWE fill for a good while.

Just finished.
Honestly they did very well with the circumstances.

Tag Team Title Singles Triple Threat Ladder match was bloody good and it was a creative ending that I can't remember seeing before.
Becky & Shayna match seemed pretty stiff.
Bryan & Sami match seemed very stiff and was very entertaining.
Seth & KO match was very good.

Man if the plan was to have Goldberg squash Bray and then lose to Roman at WM with same sort of booking as this match... you'd almost thing "top babyface no one wants to be the top babyface = nuclear heat" is actually what they're aiming for with Roman. He's been appreciated since his return because they STOPPED doing that sort of transparent booking for a little while and probably that's the best thing they could continue to do with him. Give him some more good feuds and matches that aren't for the title.

Looking forward to part 2 tomorrow

Now to go back and neg everyone who bitched and complained all through the thread

edit: just realised i missed Cesaro v Gulak in the pre-show.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Great pure wrestling match from two of the best.

Entertaining show, and it would probably be getting a lot of praise if it was any show other than 'Mania. For what its worth, I enjoyed it... Hope the Funhouse lives up to the Boneyard lulz-fest...

Taker thing saved it. I hate watching wrestling with no fans. like, despise it.

if they had more time, and hindsight I guess, I would say to film more matches like that. Owens vs Rollins in a church, Dolph and Otis in a restaurant, Shayna vs Becky in a streetfight outside with her big stupid truck in the background. just go all out.

Tonight's Cena/Wyatt will probably steal the show just like Taker's did.

I honestly thought Becky was going to end up losing the title, thankfully that wasn't the case and I actually liked the ending. The Braun and Bill match was exactly as I expected, each just using power moves and I knew there was noooo way Bill was going to deliver a Jackhammer. The Taker/Styles match was different and I enjoyed the cinematic behind it (also apparently WWE hired a bunch of local people to help, so kudos for that). I think overall, night was one was solid for what it was worth. IMO, the KO and Rollins match was match of the night. I am excited for tonight though, especially the Fiend and Cena and then hoping Banks can win the title.

I was hoping Goldberg would jackhammer Strowman

He’s delivered it to some big sum bitches. Big Show, Roadblock and Reese (guy who played Yeti in WCW) and Big Daddy V/Viscera. Should’ve had him do it to Strowman but wwe gotta book him weak cause he is a WCW guy.

It would've been awesome to see it happen. But after seeing him give a sloppy Jackhammer to the Fiend, there was noooo way he would've had Braun last night (think Braun is around 100lbs more than the Fiend). I have no doubt that he could've done that years back though.

he jackhammered the big show in his prime. strowman wouldnt have been a problem.

thing with this mania is that they could've edited it if they wanted to. could've made strowman look much stronger if he kicked out of a jackhammer. seemed like a throwaway and the blue belt is definitely devalued as a result. they should put reigns over him asap. strowman is not a star.

They had a match at an Indy show in 2011-2012? Iirc the show featured some old legends who could no longer compete on the big leagues. It was bills first appearance in anything wrestling related since he left wwe in 2004.i didn’t see the match but both bill and Nelson (viscera) had the end on their official FBs.

Yea it was hot juicy gossip at the time . Bill did his first public interview shortly after that was on youtube.

Just finished watching. Not bad. In a while, you can see past the lack of fans, and WWE did great camera work.

There is no way current Goldberg could get Strowman up for a Jackhammer. He damn near killed Taker when he tried.

The Taker/AJ match was alright, it's pretty much the only way to have a Taker match these days. You can film it over a few hours and then edit it into a 10-15 minute segment and it saves him from being exposed as old and being blown up instantly.

Braun going off on twitter and showing everyone the dude is a true POS person and then getting the belt is typical Vince behaviour. Got to have your company men complete dickheads. The top title in the WWE is a joke. Main Event scene held by guys who can't have a good match to save their life.
Not part of any crews crew

I enjoyed Daniel Bryan vs. Sami Zayn but booked Sami too cowardly. I know he’s a heel but he acted like it was Lashley he was fighting.

I think fiend vs cena and Otis vs dolph are what I want most.

Joe, ko, Otis and fiend are my favorites right now.

Show was awkward without the crowd but WWE still delivered some great work.
-Bliss and Cross will be good champs, Alexa's charisma needs to be shown regularily
-Zayn is gold and extending his reign makes sense, Bryan and Gulak would be better off in the tag division
- didn't care about the tag match, but these guys put in a lot of cool work with unique spots
- Owens sold well here and the early disqualifiction was cool as well
- Braun beating Goldberg wasn't much of match, but at least the monster among men is finally a world champion
- Boneyardbrawl was cool, Taker's song might be far from Metallica's best, but it is the one that fit the storyline the most

Shayna never made it to the top, but she certainely had a pretty long noteworthy and successful MMA career. She certainely was a top 20 fighter arguably even top 10 at her time.
While that isn't enough to make her megastar and women's MMA was still quite terrible during most of her career, it is still an impressive feat.
If you were to join an MMA gym you would be happy to have someone with her experience as a coach.

She certainely is a skilled grappler:

if they had more time, and hindsight I guess, I would say to film more matches like that. Owens vs Rollins in a church, Dolph and Otis in a restaurant, Shayna vs Becky in a streetfight outside with her big stupid truck in the background. just go all out.

Tonight's Cena/Wyatt will probably steal the show just like Taker's did.
This this this

These matches need something to spark the excitement

More stipulations. Would be awesome as fuk if there was a no DQ match and they brawled all over the damn place even outside. Would also love to see another match like the boneyard and have it take place somewhere, just don’t film it like a movie with cheesey music and bad camera work please
