hogs / coyotes yes because thats a good way to manage them. not sure why anyone would want to shoot an antelope from a helicopter. herding antelope with a helicopter is a fairly common and highly illegal tactic that poachers use sometimes.

i feel the same way man. i really dont like the idea of killing things just for the sake of being cruel. in fact there was a time when i thought id never get into hunting because i didnt like the idea of killing animals. but it was pointed out to me that hunting is much more humane than slaughter houses.

so it is what it is, but id take alot more pleasure in shooting bottles of soda than i would with shooting an animal

I do enjoy hiking, and there are some nice hills around me, plenty of rabbits (hares?) around too. Not sure on the hunting laws about that, but those would be easy with a 10/22.

Good lean meat on them.

that does sound like fun. reminds me of back in the day when id spend alot time hiking in the hills behind my parents house with a bunch of pellet guns.

it would be really fun to go hiking in the hills with an AR and a 9mm glock, enjoying nature and blasting things as you come up on them. not animals but rather pine cones and other non living targets. youd just have to be careful with what you shoot at, and also whats behind it.

Probably hard to tell, but I have a lot of hills and open area near me, I'm in Coalinga. Pretty much just pull off the 198 and hike in any direction.

Plenty of people do it around here, mostly for fun; only law I could find related to shooting was 600 ft from any standing structure or road, and in a safe direction.

Hunting is far more humane than nature, too. Nature is incredibly brutal.

First off I'm far too cheap to own a helicopter. Even if I had a quarter million laying around I won't even buy optics more expensive than Vortex or gucci ARs, which I could afford, I just don't think the marginal gains are worth it for double or triple the price. 2nd, It's dangerous as fuk to go a couple hundred yards away from the truck at night in field on group of 3 or 4 hogs with a gun, doing that chit with a knife is gangster on level I'm not prepared to go.

I know that was probably a joke post but like most miscers I have a touch of the tism and sometimes its hard for me to tell the difference so I thought I'd give you a srs answer
