I don't keep up with this thread enough but yea we're on the same page lol. The shooter and all accomplices are idiots. Any sane person would call the cops, report it, and leave it at that. We know from the GZ case that following/confronting a person that you suspect of a crime typically ends poorly.

At least the trash mattress shooters killed a dude attacking them with a bat.

The GA shooters seemed to have cornered and confronted the jogger.

If a group of people follows you at slow speed in multiple vehicles, pull in front then stop, get out with weapons in your obvious path, then you'll probably be on edge. That's a provocation.

Everyone in the other threads instantly leaping to blame the weapons as the reason it's murder was ridiculous. Simply carrying a long gun in GA before someone attacks you doesn't mean you murdered them yet that's the argument that is being presented. It bothers me the conclusions people will draw simply to reach their goals.

I'm confused. You just lead with a reference to a cop who was sentenced to 12 years, eventually suspended to 5 years prison and 3 years probation.

How do you serve 5 years in prison and be considered justified at the same time? lol

We still using the TLR-1 HL or is there something better out now? Already have one so don't want to get something different without getting two which would require it to be significantly better, fyi.

I still cannot comprehend why this no-knock thing is used so much. I understand it has a time and place, but, it seems like an actual legit justification for a no-knock raid of a home is so infrequent, that with the way it's being ****ed up constantly, it would be better just to flat out prohibit it nationally, entirely.

Was there a confrontation before the video? If so, when, where, who started it, what happened?

What was the filming party doing? Were they trying to box the guy in? Had they blocked him from retreating back already?

What commands or threats had any of the 3+ pursuers given prior to the video?



To me the simple "lesson" is don't be a dumbass. Don't go into a home uninvited whether your burgle it while you are in or don't find anything of value or whatever, and also don't try to apprehend a guy let alone a non-violent alleged-offender, call the damn police and give a description and direction of travel and wait for a responding officer so you can give a statement of what you've witnessed.

We don't know enough to know really anything except that, pretty clearly, all involved fuked up. But, when all involve fuk up and one guy is dead while the others never even faced physical danger...those guys are pretty well fuked


Yeah, I'm going to say they never faced physical danger, trying to box a dude in and having him try to take the shotgun out of your hands...because you got out of your car and stood out in the road...is your own ****ing fault.

If you're jogging down the street and a car is slowly following you, you're going to feel uncomfortable. Not a big deal by itself.

If you turn around and that car does the same, you're going to know you're being followed.

If another car comes, pulls out in front of you, then has armed individuals get out, you're going to feel fear.

You now have a vehicle behind you and in front and they're both associated by behavior.

Its a provocation. These people have no reasonable justification to pursue you according to law. You weren't committing a forceable felony.

As I am sure you remember, in thatcompletelydifferent scenario, I told everybody ITT before the trial even started that he was innocent and would be found not-guilty (an assertion I grew more confident with every day of the live streamed trial). The Z not guilty is but one in a long list of predictions I have made with a flawless record.

So I'm guessing the reason your still there is because of family? I know California has its perks but unless I had family there I'm not sure I could put up with the politics. Within 10 years California is gonna be where Canada is now and in our lifetime I suspect there will be a full ban

The job, it pays too well for how little we actually do; 90% of being a C/O is pretty standard stuff, people watching and paperwork. We say "We get paid for what wemight have to do, not for what we do.Plenty of times taking a guy down, dealing with stabbings and murders, ODs, riots, ect. but overall that's in the minority of the job.

My average day is escorts, standing around, doing paperwork for Rules Violation Reports, and just making sure the basic daily stuff like meals, education, visiting, and all that run like they should.

Topped out pay, base salary, is almost $100k right now, with overtime you can double that pretty easily.
