He mostly only hates kids, strangers, other dogs, birds and drive thru windows. Otherwise very normal.

Oh and he loves to phuck.

Butcher is about to turn 3, and we are thinking about getting him a sister for his birthday! We are trying to find a similarly aged frenchie, for several reasons, but all we are finding are these poor bred the fukk out girls with health problems from all the over breeding and neglect. Makes me want to take a hammer to all these fukks.

anyways, here's our little man

thanks brah.

We have an appointment to meet a 2 year old frenchie tomorroww as a possible sister! She's a tiny girl, 17lbs compared to my boy at 25lbs, but is never energetic. Hopefully they will be a good match and she'll be able to play/keep up with Butcher.

Quick update to previous posts, where we were trying to adopt an older/like-age pup for our boy. It was a nightmare. Everyone is running some sort of scam, or the legit ones (all 2 of them) had some other shenanigans going on and really not sure what was going on (one dude would call us every other day to give us updates, but when we pressed for vet records he would act hella weird and change the topic or say he had to go).

Well out of the blue, a guy that I spoke to 4 months ago or so about his 3 year old that never fell through reached out to me and asked if I was interested in a puppy... I really didn't want to do the puppy thing again, and I wanted someone closer in age to Butcher, buuuuuuuut we met her and now we have a puppy...

This is Minverva

4 months old, 6lbs, and pure puppy trouble. We picked her up yesterday, and she and Butcher played non stop the entire night. Butch is somehow outpacing her, but she is feisty.

Now, this is where I need help from experienced trainers. How do you help in establishing an alpha? Butcher is the biggest potato sweet heart ever, and I just dont think he has it in him to "Regulate" on her. He needs to be the alpha, but I don't know how to establish it. Any ideas?

Whatever you feed your pups Is anyone buying more of it than usual?

If locked in for awhile I want to have enough to feed them.

this is actually something that sunk in last night when I ran to the store for meat (which btw, the entire fukking meat department, bread aisle, and cleaning supplies were legit ELIMINATED...). Butcher has been on a home cooked diet, which requires fresh food weekly... He might have to go to kibble, which sucks for his allergies...

She is adorbs! Not really sure how to establish dominance. My pupper can't be with other dogs at all. Maybe contact some recommended trainers in your area.

I get my boos food auto delivery, but someone mentioned in the grocery store thread that stuff could go wrong or no drivers so I ordered an extra big bag just in case.

Oh I hope you can find meat for him so his allergies don't flare up. Go super early in the morning before the crowds hit.

Love most puppets, though definitely met a few really annoying dogs too.

Cats on the other hand...

I'm allergic, so they already have that going against them with me.

One of my earliest memories was my godfather's cat taking a chunk out my face.

I've come across more weird cats than dogs.

I still like cats but can't pet them or else eyes start itching, sneezing etc.

I basically have to either wash my hands after or make it a point to not touch my face, which apparently is pretty hard for me.

I still pet them sometimes though

Feed him first. Let him finish.

Then feed Minerva.

It's all you need to do bro. srs

After the training period, test to see if she respects the order by giving the bowls out at the same time. She should wait until Butcher has first dibs. Always give respect to the alpha first then behavior will follow.

He's never known any different, so he's cool
The only issue it really had for him was when we first got him and he didn't know how to navigate without a true understanding of depth perception. He would freak out if he was on a curb, because he couldn't tell if it was a 6" or 6' drop. It took a lot of work and trust building, but he got it down and is a savage at stairs lol (though we try to limit any stair activity to avoid wear on his hips).

Oh, and just a friendly reminder to never get a puppy. Fukk are they a pain in the ass. Butcher was a relative breeze to train but only 2 days in and Minerva has me questioning all my life choices...

That said, they are getting along great. Butcher is wearing Minerva out which is hilarious. They are both still azzholes when it comes to going on walks, but we're getting there.

Why so? They look like good doggos.
I think getting a dog when he's a pupper creates a stronger bond with owner and all those troubles at the beginning should pay off in a long run.

I can't even imagine being allergic to animals. I'd be doing the same thing if I were, I just can't not pet a cute kitter or pupper.

Sup legz and all misc pet owners?

My dog’s are okay. Big blackjack is doing excellent since recovering from the disease that caused his nails to turn brittle/hollow and fall out. They were fully removed and then allowed to grow back harder and normal.

My Lilly is getting old though, having hip and joint issues.

We moved into a new place with a smaller Backyard and fenced side yard but I am walking blackjack every single morning. It’s just me and the dogs now. Might take a cat. My friends cats had kittens and they are so adorable with their playful nature.

But the only way I ever could do that would be to declaw so then again I may not do it.

Oh no, what was wrong with Blackjack? What kind of disease did he have? Sorry to hear about Lily having hip and joint issues. How old is she again? My boo just turned 9 and he's definitely slowing down. Since Lily is getting older and having issues I prob would not get a kitten right now. Concentrate on her and Blackjack.

Symmetric lupoid onychodystrophy (SLO) . His case was just more severe than most young adult dogs that get it.

No pussy for me right now I suppose... lol.
I agree with you.

Yea I’m hoping to move again I want to leave the rat race behind For country living and grow my own food. Raise My own chickens and maybe a couple pigs and cows. Grass fed cows.

Outside sipppng peach tea grilling on one of my green eggs. Overlooking my land and veggies and fruit gardens while seeing absolutely no neighbors!

Would love to bring the dogs and let them run around feeling free out there.

Lily is 9.
