Unforeseen circumstances should permit a refund (death, natural disaster, illness, etc...). The company is fukked up for doing that. Now if you call off your wedding or change the date or some other bs then fuk u no refund. But the guys a ******* too for going to social media. Should have at least tried in small claims court.

Fuk that photographer. I would understand not refunding it if it was 1, maybe even 2 months in advance that he canceled, but 3 months? You’re telling me they can’t find anything to photograph or videotape on that day in 3 months? Smh that’s BS. They are scum and deserve no business lmfao. And the email exchange is a joke on their part they didn’t even try to negotiate with him when he basically tried to at least get a credit for if he remarried again.

The guy is a ****ing sociopath on top of being a cheapskate. What's his username?

E: looking up the company name's, some other fun facts about the "CEO":

-he's a serial scammer in the business. creates a shell company, takes money for wedding services he'll never perform, then disappears and pops up elsewhere in the country under another name.
-pinned an employee's suicide on the "bullying" from the client wanting his money back, suicide actually happened years ago.
-was previously arrested for violating a restraining order and admitted to a mental health institution

Indeed, he's a mentally ill conman whose livelihood depends on stealing and blowing hot air whenever his schemes start coming apart.

Bunch of soft pussies TBH. The deposit was non-refundable. Montney signed the contract. Hold up your end of the deal. He should have negotiated the contract in the first place and added a force majeure clause.

The rationale behind the company's argument is sound. Wedding arrangements are made months, sometimes years in advance. It's unlikely the company would have obtained another gig with such short notice.

geez

sometimes it's a better idea just to keep your mouth shut and let yelp/google remove the fake reviews

a deposit's a deposit and people seem to think they're not sometimes but man he could've approached this a million different ways before this way

Is there anything illegal about that company creating that website about the guy? That gives me an idea. If it's 100% legal I want to do something like that to out a prostitute that's been stalking me.
