How about we put reparations on the table, and start pulling from the reparation pile until the damages of the riots have been paid for. After that, they can have whatever is left. It's not going to be much.

This, even if the USA collectively ended things and dropped all this madness at once. Eventually you have people with prejudices that will resurface

People that have evil thoughts cannot be swayed from them. We all have evil thoughts but what matters is whether you choose to act on them.

African Americans never got reparations for building America and putting up with whitey's sht for centuries.

People on the misc have problems with AA and diversity quotas (despite not seeing how little they are used) ofc they'll lose their sht over what is essential fair.

Black Americans should just be given large portions of land and billions in government aid to build quality communities

No. I think reparations is a retarded idea. Giving reparations in exchange for stopping the rioting is even worse than doing it at a time of peace. It would be like giving in to the demands of terrorists.

No, only because it's not going to solve anything. One of my biggest pet peeves with this inequality BS is that people are inherently different. I guarantee that if we divided the total dollars in circulation within the US and divided it among the 300M+ people equally (i.e. perfect equality) that the people who are more intelligent, took smarter risks, or flat out luckier, etc. would once again disproportionately win out.

These band-aid policies of throwing money at everything aren't going to fix the root of the issue (i.e. people are inherently prejudiced to some degree, make snap decisions, will make poor decisions if economically incentivized, etc.).
