There is no way in hell he will play QB at the next level. The guy is nothing more than a high school QB. He uses his legs WAYYY too much and does not use his arm nor his head when playing the QB position. If he wants to succeed at the next level he better learn how to catch passes. He is too lanky to tackle, to skinny to be a legit NFL running back. The only thing that he can do is play WR and if he can't show it at the CFB level he will never see the field. Look at Terrell Pryor and Braxton Miller. They were much better Qbs that jackson is and not just runners playing QB and they still didnt make it as QBs in the NFL.

He's not a real Heisman winner either. I don't know if he's that bad on the read option in regards to reading the blitz or just selfish while running it.

I dont think he has the mental capacity to even play QB. The guy just runs, runs runs.

Strong search for thread. But 31 new players out of 53 on Miami. I'll wait to see next weeks Ravens game.

Let's see if he can do this consistently. Overreacting as usual. Jackson has an unorthodox throwing motion.

This.

Even Blake Bortles had a couple lucky games making people think he was decent.

The Dolphins no doubt are trash, but Lamar was hitting receivers deep down the field, in stride, with pin point accuracy. He didn't just get lucky a few times, he did this over and over again throughout the game. One game doesn't make a season, so we will see, but the criticism on Lamar was he couldn't make those throws against any team.

Yep his throws were perfectly placed. Worked with QB gurus during offseason, has a ton of young/fast weapons (Hollywood Brown looks legit af), and gets rid of incompetent Marty Mornhinweg as o coordinator. Lots of reasons for legit optimism but obviously next couple games should be more telling.
