I'm still confused on how he was charged with felony murder when that requires a separate felony in the course of the killing. The separate felony has to be inherently dangerous such as burglary, arson, rape, robbery or kidnapping.

Good, too many internet tough guys on the left acting like they don't need any cops. It's hilarious watching them panic over this and how quick they have started to criticize their lack of presence. For weeks they have been saying nothing besides "cops being around only creates problems" and now they are singing a completely different tune about how awful it is that they aren't around.

It was a borderline shoot but technically legal and he will be acquitted.

Rolfe was in a FULL ON SPRINT. We as LEOS are not authorized to use tasers on individuals who are running. Because they can FALL on the concrete and suffer traumatic brain injuries. Clearly the severity of this situation is beyond your thinking abilities. Oh and that backup partner you were talking about? He’s currently having a panic attack and unable to back me up.

He shot a stolen taser at a law enforcement officer. That’s not running away. You can’t shoot someone with a dangerous weapon and immediately turn around and be safe from retaliation because you’re “running”.

I was under the impression that the suspect never fired the taser while running. That he simply pointed it.

Now if he had been shot while they were rolling or as he stood up over them then that would have been clear cut and easy.

I said it was borderline I'm just presenting the states argument.

I think he'll be acquitted and I won't have an issue with it.
