The only way to beat PC is to use PC back. Act like you are the bigger SJW as other people suggested. PC shuts down all conversation and makes it socially unacceptable to argue against whatever you say as long as it’s even more PC.

Structural integrity because of all the people there partying. Lots of people = lots of weight

edit: If they make it about anything else, then hit 'em with that reverse uno card and accuse them of racism

"The series of BIFMA tests are meant to mimic a weight load of around 250 pounds, which is why that has become the industry standard. Most manufacturer’s choose to go with the 250 pound weight limit whether they have actually had their chairs tested according to BIFMA standards or not"

"The standard computer chair or guest chair can hold a weight of about 250 pounds"

Also god forbid she was on a second or higher story floor. Most residential live loads (non permanent or moving weights) are designed for 40 pounds square foot and they only take an average but do not calculate for intense point loads like a Lizzo standing in with her two reinforced high heels close together, that is putting 4 small point loads possibly within a single square foot area in excess of 300 pounds. I have my own concerns and believe she would be better accommodated in an industrial warehouse designed for such high loading.

Dying to see what the fallout was OP. For a joke like this I bet it’s a stern talking to and slap on the wrist

As others have said, knowing you work with snitches is absolutely soul crushing though.

Update:

So I just got out of the meeting, which HR didn't even want to conduct. They were essentially forced to have it in lieu of new policy changes regarding personnel conduct. The complain was made on Thursday, and interviews took place Friday, and yesterday. They found discrepancies in the stories, and determined that there was no malicious intent on my end. Understandably they will not discuss which person made the claim, and consider it closed. I asked if there would be any type of penalties for the person who made a fraudulent claim and they said they weren't at liberty to discuss anything further. So even if something did happen I wouldn't know about it, and would basically be a slap on the wrist. I think I know who it was, but since I can't be sure I'm going to be as reserved as possible around the building. I was never really friends with my coworkers, but I tried to keep things cordial and light.

After the meeting I spoke to the HR supervisor "D" for few minutes and she assured me that I wont have anything on my file that should effect upward or outward mobility moving forward. I just don't want anyone making inquiries into my character and some bullchit situation fuk with my chit.

HR are literal vermin. Simply cannot disguise the scorn I feel when I deal with them. It's mostly gossipy, backstabbing, power mad females. Any males that end up in HR are cucks and should probably off themselves.

Yeah. It shouldn't have to be like that, but it do. We are really laid back as a whole (mechanical maintenance for a large facility) but there is one guy that got butthurt over basically nothing and complained to higher ups about it. Since then I don't say a word to that dude unless it pertains directly to our work.

A lot of the people that work here are the over sensitive types that take themselves way too seriously. The "too cool for school" types that are never really themselves unless they're drunk. My mistake, I'll stick to the people I know can take a joke, and keep my distance from everyone else.

dam shame it has to be like that

a few months ago, I got on the elevator with a few co-workers and I was in the front of the elevator. I said "how progressive of yall", but I said it loudly enough where everyone on the elevator laughed. I knew I was gonna hear it from HR, but never did.

sounds like one of the group milked it and made bigger claims about what you said and thus the story didnt match up with what the other people said when interviewed separately.

Its shady that they have a "required" meeting but you have nothing in writing or any report of the content of the meeting. I would have asked for an email or summary of the discussion of the meeting. Atleast make a note and email yourself and home email so you have it for your record.

If they found the accusations credible, the certainly would have documentation in your file but now that they found the accusations fraudulent, although they have information in their files they didnt send you anything about in writing saying you had false accusations against you. What if you get a new boss who makes similar false claims or it becomes a trend, you have no documentation for yourself. This is all because HR is there to protect the company not for the worker

No. You can even make something up. Get on tape making it look like she is making advances at you and basically soccer flop with overly exaggerated emotions.

Have her act out drinking a cup of water and say she said she was going to complain again unless you let her gobble your weenus.

The agenda, and summary is being emailed to me. I should have it by end of business today. But I wont know how detailed it will be...Hell it could just say "Nothing to see here folks" and be it. Memecop brought up me initiating a counter claim, so I'll speak with HR and see what that entails. I want to cover my ass as much as possible.
