You seem to love generalizing places. Africa, as a continent, has faced serious issues, but things are looking up -- especially for countries like Kenya and Nigeria. People wrote off China in the 80's and 90's too. Now look where they are. There is a lot of poverty in Africa, but there has been tremendous improvementamd economic growth. I genuinely believe Nigeria will one day be a formidable economy in Africa.

Truth. Actually, if we could ALL get our population booms under control and abandon tribalism, this world would be a much better place.

I too have done a lot of reading and research into Africa. I hope to hunt there some day. The truth is. Without colonialism, Africa would still just be a bunch of tribes living in mud huts killing each other with pointy sticks. Don't get me wrong, a lot of Africa is pure tribalism, and now they are killing each other with AK47s and machetes. But there are pockets of civilization and order in the more 'desirable' areas.


As far as the more 'desirable' and civilized areas of Africa. The most 'advanced' cities in Africa. They are all places that were colonized and built by Europeans. European law, medicine, technology, etc. And for the most part, progress halted in all of those places when they went back to African governance. Many African nations faced and are facing a 'foot shortage' when they basically seized white owned farms and handed them out to native Africans. Its still an on-going issue and in some places they are already begging for AID as well as trying to get the expelled white farmers to return.


Africa is an amazing continent. The most diverse and resource rich in on the planet. But without outside forces coming in they literally would still be living in the dark ages on every single area of the continent. I don't believe its an intelligence issue. I just think its tribalism and greed. So many corrupt leaders...

China will most likely gain a foothold in Africa now and they won't just walk away like Europeans did. The Chinese government don't give a fukk. They'll build roads, cities, schools, hospitals, etc. But they are going to exploit the continent for everything its worth in the process. In 50 years large portions Africa will be ruled by the Chinese elite and the Africans will be second class citizens. Guarantee it.
