It's not. Like northen said, $10-12/hour and the cost of a temperature scanner is nothing to Walmart.

BTW, masks are already mandatory in public lol.
I said it would be costly, but not detrimental.

Again, why would a business spend anything more than they have to if they can just offload the cost to customers via masks? Christ, I feel like I'm talking to a wall like damn.

In either case, your argument is moot since Walmart and other retailers have already issued a mandatory mask guideline for their stores.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that it's faster to put on a mask than it is to check temperatures LOL

Because we are in a middle of a pandemic, it's mandated by government, because they want their customers to feel safe, etc? The actual reasoning the business chooses to doesn't have to fit "your logic".

Believe it or not, some businesses have one that aren't even required too. I've been to some restaurants that have them, it's not required.

Just because they can do something, doesn't mean it's the best option. You're using straw man examples because wearing masks in a gym or restaurant don't make as much sense as it is to wear them in grocery stores, big box retailers, public transport, etc.

Having a temp check machine at a local restaurant/franchise =/= adding them to every single chain location.

1) don't know where you live, but attempting to do things on a 105 degree day with a mask is uncomfortable as ****. Making a 3 year old (required legally in CA) wear one is next to impossible.

2) Baaaaaaa. I think you need to lick the boots of those in charge a bit more.

CA is back on lockdown. THAT is a huge burden on the working class.

As for your 2nd point: I was for shutdowns initially. Now I want everything to open back up.
But what you don't seem to understand is that, no matter how you feel about COVID, when cases go up, states/cities/businesses shut down. So why not just let everything open up again but implement mandatory masks to mitigate COVID numbers?

As per your last point: he started it first.

you're dumber than that other guy LMFAO
What evidence do you have to support the notion that mandatory mask wearing implementation will significantly reduce the spread of covid? If the masks are so beneficial in this way, then why is it that cases keep going up so many places despite increased general voluntary mask usage, as well as increased mandatory mask mandates in recent weeks? Shouldn't the infection rates be going down despite increased testing rates if the masks are so effective?

Can you make one post without resorting to name calling and throwing out "lols"? Or are you just not capable of that? You might want to consider the fact that both of those habits make it drastically more difficult for people to take anything you're saying seriously, especially when you do it constantly.

The analogy you're using here is astonishingly bad. You're comparing construction workers trying to prevent things like paint particles and sawdust from getting into their lungs when they wear industrial grade n95 masks to people trying to stop the spread of areosolyzed covid virus particles with "masks" that amount to putting your t-shirt over your face. One is based on actual scientific merits. The latter was literally discouraged for general public usage until a couple months ago when emotion based nonsense like "It's only 10 minutes!!!!! Don't you care about saving lives!??!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!?!??!?! lolololoolozlozlozlolz" came out to support it.

That is so far from the truth and the complete opposite of what's happening. My inner network consists of several doctors and nurses... They're not even taking people in, they get sent home unless they're dying. Hospitals have laid off staff.

They also have rapid covid tests for patients who come in that are badly injured.

Most of the hospital rooms are still in use for surgeries (breasts, tummy tuck etc).

Several of the people doing the covid tests are using incorrect procedures. There is a stupid amount of false negative and positives. Nobody knows what they're doing. It's blatantly obvious, and things are blown way out of proportion.

So you're performing vastly more tests and the proportion of positive tests is increasing

1. these tests are notorious for false positives and theres other factors. but regardless, your stat is irrelevant if in the end the rise in positive cases reflects perfectly with testing.

2. hospitilizations are up because hospitals were going so broke over having no patients that they started doing elective surgeries again. guess what, they count that as hospitilizations.

but also, if i walk into a hospital because i cut my finger and need stitches, they will test me for covid anyway. if it comes back that i have antibodies then im marked as a covid hospitalization. thats regardless of WHEN i gained the antibodies and regardless of the fact that i would have never shown up if it wasnt for the finger cut because i had bo symptoms

1) No LOL. I don't expect to be taken seriously like I don't take anybody here seriously.
Also, look at that study the other anti-mask miscer posted where he said to ignore the abstract, which completely refuted his points. And, AFAIK, state-ordered mask mandates only came into effect within the last week or two.

2) Actually, that wasn't the point I was making. I was saying they wear those masks for hours on end in even worse weather and don't complain nearly as much as people who have to wear it in grocery stores. Not sure where you thought I was arguing about the validity of construction workers wearing masks.

Again, strong reading comprehension of peace and prosperity. Putting on a mask is less work than consistently replying to me LOL.

That graph is showing a rise in the proportion of positive cases, it's not indicative of testing volume. If you have 1 positive test out of 10 or 100 positive tests out of 1000, both are 10%. An increase in the proportion suggests the virus is spreading more widely. The raw number of tests performed correlating with higher numbers of confirmed cases, sure that makes sense.

I highly doubt your second point or follow-up are accurate and don't care to get into crap about hospitals intentionally skewing numbers or whatever else, that's right into conspiracy theory territory. If you don't want to believe any of the numbers being published in your city / state / country, that's your prerogative.

What if more people are getting tested because more people are sick?

All that money but still so angry...about masks?

Also post your 350 IQ pls

EDIT: you do have a better physique than me, I'll give you that
I have everything better than you.

How does that make you feel? Sad? Mad? Disappointed? That you've failed to accomplish anything with your life besides spend your days posting on a forum? You can't even manage to make it to the gym. Sad man. I feel for you.

I'm sorry the world has placed such tough emotional and physical demands on you. Keep your head up buddy, find your safe space. If you're younger than 59, you're going to make it out of this just fine. I believe in you. At least one other miscer I'm sure does too.

You made 85K in 2 months and you're still so bitter. So...angry. I can feel the hate stewing through you. It drives you...but it makes you waste time trying to prove your income on a dying bodybuilding forum where the majority of people post bbc and tranny threads.

And you're still so upset about...masks? Live your life bro. Enjoy it. Don't get so upset about masks, it's not that big of a deal.
