GF and her best friend (female ofc) are renting a cabin in the woods from 2days ago till today. Last night after dinner 2 miles from their cabin they walked back home and got followed by a car that drove a quarter mile behind they very slow, lights out. They started running and rushed inside when they reached the cabbin. Locked everything and didn't see any movement outside anymore. The car was parked a quarter mile from the cabin. They thought they left, but this morning the couple that rents the cabin told them 2 huge foreigners walked around the cabin and tried to climb over the fence, looking at a way to get in. The owner saw this on the security camera's and rushed to the cabin where he told the guys to gtfo. Today they are going on a hike with the owner, but I'm still worried as someone with no relation to these 2 girls will not give their life to protect them... Just holding a knife is enough to stop a guy from doing anything and letting the girls be taken away.
I've been doing martial arts since age 8 and even I know that you cannot get into a knifefight without getting some serious life-threatening cuts, but I'd go for it without a doubt and do anything in my power to protect them.

I'm a very calm man in any situation, but this might be the first time in years I'm really nervous and pumped up with anger and dispair.

I need to get them some things so they can protect themselves. I already taught my girl some basics, but because she's not a landwhale, she could never win from a man that is double her size... I'm thinking about pepperspray as the most logical solution.

None of these would stop 2 huge guys against two girls in the woods. The pepper spray gives them an extra 3-10 seconds before the guys close down on them.

Avoiding the situation altogether seems like the only even halfway sensible self-defence strategy.
