I think people get the idea thatamericans dont leave the continental USAbecause Europe has the eurorail and the EU which makes it HELLA easy to travel. Not to mention the USA is the size of several different european countries. USA is fukkin big man

There are over 50 different states to see. Each one different from the next.
Why fly half way around the world when you could hop in a car or truck or on a motorbike and start driving?
Check out the areas close to you and than travel further down the line.

The media kept circulating articles saying that only a small percentage (30%<) of Americans have passports, I assume it started there.

I drove from MS to San Diego, CA (but we didnt go STRAIGHT there). Holy hell man...once you get west of texas, its amazing scenery alright, but It. just. Keeps. Going. SOmewhere around north Utah, on one of the major freeways, there is a huge sign that says [paraphrasing]: "Yo better get gas now because there is literallyNOTHINGfor 300 miles. No gas stations. No rest stops. Nothing. You've been warned"

Much easier for Euro's to travel to loads of different countries, hop on a plain in the UK and you can be in a dozen different countries inside a couple of hours.

US by comparison is massive and unless you live on a border state it's not going to be a quick trip to Canada or Mexico and getting to Europe would be a long flight.

Most Brits have probably traveled to places like France, Spain etc because they are close, and like wise for many continental Europeans with many countries bordering them or near them, but I suspect just like Americans a far smaller percentage will have traveled to the US, Asia etc where a far longer journey is required.

europeans don't realize that it's a farther drive from Maine to California than it is from Spain to Russia

Sq miles of the entirety of europe = 3.93 million

Sq miles of the entirety of America = 3.8 million

their pretty much exact same size as europe so I'm sure they'd rather explore their own country. a state is a country when it comes to size. you can go from pouring rain to sunny beaches same as europe.

Let's be honest, we kind of have everything.

Want the beach? We've got two oceans

Want mountains? We have the Rockies

Want crazy nightlife scene? We've got Las Vegas

Want gambling? Again Vegas

Want nature? We've got the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, amazing red wood trees in North Cali, awesome hot springs down in Florida, etc etc etc.

Want good hunting? Go visit anywhere in the mountain west

Want to see the Aurora Borealis? Go to Alaska

Want major cities with "culture"? We've got New York, LA, Chicago, etc.

Want historical significance? We've got some of the best at Washington DC

Want great music with great festivals? Pretty much all over

Want great camping? multiple spots as well

Want amazing architecture or old historic towns/building and sh*t? Bunch of places in the North East.

Don't want to be in the ocean but like the water? We've even got the Great Lakes.

Love waterfalls? Take a trip to Niagara Falls the most famous waterfall of all

Enjoy caving? The southwest has some great caving options as does the kentucky/tennessee area

Want a tropical escape? We've got Hawaii and the Caribbean

Want awesome food? We have some of the best restaurants in the world in nearly every major city

LMAO at leaving the U.S. The travelcels who brag about all the countries they've visited are absolute toolbags because the U.S. has literally anything you could really want. Very few places offer anything better to offer. If you want to go to other countries then I got no problem with it but you're not becoming more enlightened because you left the US for a month and came back. You're just an entitled douchebag who wants to act like he's better than others in this country because you "traveled"

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

I mean it's the same ease of going into another state , as it is for Europeans to cross into other European countries. i honestly have traveled to more countries than i have other states in America.

Also i don't get where this idea that Americans don't travel comes from.. Where the world literally caters to Ameri****s, because they want them dead presidents

Chances are the I, as an American, have traveled more than you. I have been to 10 countries, and over 30 states in the USA.
