COVID complicates things too but Biden is currently running on the position of "at least I'm not the other guy", and this has always turned out to be a losing position (see Romney and Kerry). However when a president is so despised, it just may work. Regarding COVID, Trump should have held his briefings, and just worn a mask for optics. That would have helped him out more, but even with COVID he should be able to destroy Biden, who is just an empty suit.
I am in complete agreement that the GOP is useless, but Trump's behavior has also kicked the shift to the left into high-gear.
I don't understand how you can look at that tweet and not see how it's a gift-wrapped attack ad for Democrats to push to voters that "Drumpf is a fascist!!!"
