> Made friends on call of duty
> They turn out to be marines
> Met them like a month ago irl, they all cool
> They talk to me as like I'm one of "em" eventho I only know em from like 3-4 months so I kept going with flow
> They added me in their group chat and asked me if I wanna join em at shooting range tonight
> My autistic reply "sure bruh, love it lol"

Here is problem, idk jack about shooting or even holding a gun right way. Youtube videos just keep saying same bs about trigger discipline but I don't have time for all that, wot do? Backing out isn't option because we all agreed already lol any practical tips for begginer? I don't wanna look like a noob


Edit - I came clean and made up chit like "I love guns in call of duty but idk how to shoot one irl bruh", they taught me and I did pretty good actually or average

I guess you could call up a gun range now and book a private session to walk you through the basics and get some experience before you meet up with them too.

Seems like a super weird thing to do though if you've got friends who would teach you

Definitely tell them you've never shot. Never be that ******* in any situation that acts like they know what they're doing, and completely **** up. You get more respect from people by being straight with them. Plus I know for sure they'd love teaching you to shoot, its fun bringing new people.

Just be honest. Any other approach is incorrect. They'll tell you what to do and you'll have fun. Bring you're own safety glasses if you have them. Otherwise, you can buy at the range. You need ear protection too but the range probably has ears to loan for free.

Well, you can probably get a 2-3 hour session and then buy 4-5 guns from your favorite arms dealer so it looks legit.

Hitting your target is more complicated, tho.

Most range offer private lessons. I'd do that if I was in your position. Get a two hour lesson, one hour for pistol, and one for AR.

I just saw it's tonight when they're meeting up. You're probably screwed on the lessons then. Just watch videos.
