What are the best republican cities?
I currently live in Chicago and was thinking about moving to NYC but seeing how democratic/blue cities end up having the most violence/danger due to the fact that they let criminals walk the street made me realize it is a bad idea. What are the best cities that are red/republican?

Cities
Republican
Pick one. Lol at finding a major city that isn't a liberal chithole. There are 0. You have to go to smaller secondary cities in a red state, even then it is suspect. Go burbs or rural.

Are you talking about pro Trump Republican cities? If so, then there are almost no pro-Trump, Republican cities left in the USA. Even Salt Lake city UT has turned democrat. Forth Worth Texas voted for Beto and will likely vote for Biden come 2020. Orange county CA is democrat now to. Same with Phoenix.
Just move to a SAFE city with a good job market instead. Seattle, Austin, San Antonio are generally safe cities with thriving economies(though the economy is **** all over the usa now.) Look at how safe the city is and inspect the job prospects. Don't worry about political affiliation. Almost no big cities are pro Trump/Republican these days.
If you want to work for a big company, say Coke, Exxon, ********, a big 4 Accounting firm, FOX , Dell etc. You have to live in a democrat city; or at least an independent, Republican. leaning city that as a whole dislikes Trump (like Salt Lake or Phoenix)

-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

There are republican friendly cities (not majority, but cities where they are accepted).
Basically any city in an uber red state or red region will be friendly to republicans.
SLC
Boise
Colorado Springs
San Diego
Jacksonville
Charleston
Fort Worth/Dallas
Cincinatti
Nashville to an extent
Phoenix to an extent
Also any city thats VERY wealthy across the board (no ghettos) will be very fiscally conversative and have a strong GOP base:
like:
Bellevue, WA
Greenwich, CT
Parts of Orange County CA (forgot all those city names)
Staten Island is part of NYC, has about 500k people, and voted for Trump in 2016 as well.
Upper east side in NYC has a surprisingly strong GOP base (more mitt romney types).

There are none.
Find a republican state, find a conservative town in that state. If you want to be near the city, you can usually find a decent town nearby. My town is in Liberal Connecticuck and is mostly conservative, no crime, good schools, low taxes, etc. But I can get to the nearby cities within 30 minutes.

Here’s a list of cities that voted for Trump. Only major ones are St. Louis (surprising) and Tampa.
St Louis has a Democrat mayor and 100% democrat city council.
Tampa has a gay Democrat mayor who was previously republican (wtf). And 100% democrat city council.
Just lol @ this

Yeah, you can get a falafel at 3am but good luck fighting your way out of the city when Covid-21 hits.

^ Weird that Alaska has so much blue. I figured the one vote per 10 hectares up there would be firmly red.

cities are inherently left leaning. i think the issue is the contrast of wealth and poverty so close to one another warps the perception of the residents. Say if you live in LA, to your left is a 75 year old bum in a tent, to the right is a Ferrari. The perception is of this egregious wealth gap and you feel the system is unfair. It warps your thinking, you think the entire world is like this. the reality is most people live in a very comfortable middle. Thats why the vast majority (geographically) of the country votes conservatively. The major cities see inequality as a real issue and vote for the government to fix it. they think by taking the wealth of one person it will bring up the wealth of others. The irony is if they voted for less regulation it would create more jobs and bring up the lower class even faster.

Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau are more working class conservative/libertarian.
