Business Owner (Recruiting Agency + a recruiting product- being deliberately vague)
Covid threw me for a loop this year but will make roughly 250. Without Covid I would have been on track for 450-500

Feels good not to be impressed by success, wealth, talent (srs)
All the things most people admire and strive for
Billions of successful, wealthy, and talented people have come and gone throughout history
And nobody remembers them...except the relatively few historical ones
It's such a relief
Why put in all the effort, make the sacrifices when even if you do "make it" it's all a zero sum game in the end
Especially for a single guy without a family who has nothing invested in society
Feels good mane

Tough work in some fields, but good security even during economic down peroids.
And no I am not a tradie--I am quite the handyman though--but if I could start from 15 years old I would highly consider it. The key is to start early, finish an apprenticeship and by your early 20s already have a deposit for a house, a large resume thus giving you more options.
Now I can tell you how many people I know with basic degrees like business who are making 60k still and want to shoot themselves.

You guys aren't actually making a market or holding any positions though, right?I wouldn’t be selling derivatives to retail clients such as yourself
I would be selling them to Fortune 500 companies and institutions like alternative investment funds
They trade more volume and at a higher frequency and Fortune 500 companies especially utilize the views of the currency strategists I’d be working with in order to hedge their FX exposure
I honestly don’t know much about the role tbh (above was a guess) and with such a fragmented market I’m not sure how profitable it could be which is why I doubt the average compensation they’ve provided me with
