I doubt the BB.com techs etc even know how to actually turn this chit off.

They are more likely to just abandon ship and leave us here festering on this broken-ass dying forum until someone eventually wants to create another bb.com and finds us all here in 2050 or something... so it will be business as usual for us.

I just tried to imaging the lot being full and what all those people would be doing at work

The has changed hands 3 times in the few years.

In late 2016, the company laid off around 90 employees.

In summer of 2019, the company was acquired by Expedia Travel (previously owned by Liberty Media)

In January 2020, the company laid off around 40 employees.

About three months ago, the company was acquired by an investment firm out of Phoenix.

Yesterday, the company laid off 30-40 employees from what I have gathered.

The sole focus for the company is to focus on their subscription model.

Is the headquarters also a warehouse or just a office? the parkinglot looks huge but makes sense if it was leased out during its heyday and has a warehouse.

HQ is just an office. It is three floors.

Last year, it was purchased by a bank who moved into the main floor. Since I've left, it sounds like the bank has expanded to the lower level, and BBcom HQ employees only occupy the upstairs.

Y'all know back when forumsentinel, forumadmin, forumnature were all pretty active, there were a few times where that guy with a 1785(or something like that) join date and like 60 post with 300,000 rep power would chime in on threads. I can't remember the threads, but I do remember one of them was legit either a forum i.t. guy or something. Then another thread some other bb.com i t person posted a couple of times. I remember them having more bodyspace points than I'd ever seen. I really wish we could have them come in either on this thread or make a dedicated stickied thread where they could answer some legit questions.


I know most of us would probably be banned or at least mega negged for posting dumb chit(because I mean... WELL look at us LOL). But it would be cool to if for one thread we could put our buttfukery and degeneracy away so maybe they could clear some things up for us?

That's time out of their day I know, and us not having this forum to post on isn't the end of anyone's life. But it would be nice. Just a thought for any mod that may read this. And if not

FYI if anyone cares misccrew.com is down for the next 24 hours. It looks like it was hacked. A basic script kiddy hack. No indication the database itself was hacked, which stores personal information. Im going to have to do a full wipe unfortunately. I will see about getting an older version with the real rep system. But preliminary shows they dont have the older versions for download.

This is why I didn't join. No offense but you made this forum from your phone and I was concerned for my personal info. And then it happened as easily as I expected. I want some kind of official site with a team of admin who keep our information safe as there would be serious ramifications otherwise.

If this site goes down it sadly seems like Reddit is our best option. Of course we won't get to speak as freely as before but at least we'll still have each other no homo
