I've been wearing a mask in public at least 75% or more of the time. But if you choose not to wear one? That's totally fine! I'm not gonna yell ya down or be a bossy little b!tch trying to demand you to wear one. Nor will I snarkily hope you get the disease. Just keep your distance and we're cool.

Those bodybuilders likely got paid to go to those gyms to attract more gym goers. Free memberships and stuff for them... pure marketing by places like Venice Beach and other Gold's Gym to say "OMG LOOK ARNIE BUILT HIS BODY HERE LOOK COME HERE AND YOU WILL BE LIKE ARNIE".

This may cause some of y’all a headache because it is so unfamiliar but I am going to ask y’all to think. Imagine that you were born to felons and that you had to become your own example of human kindness. Community service would be important to you. Requiring old folks to do their own heavy chores would be distasteful because it’s more of the same dog eat dog bull chit that you see every day. Not everyone has to do community service. Folks that don’t shouldn’t feel required to mask up. But explain to me how me wearing a mask fukks your day?

they can say this because there's absolutely no way of proving if getting covid while wearing a mask vs not wearing one has any effect on how severe catching it is.
Touching the front of the mask, pulling it down intermittently to smoke, drink or
eat and reuse of
disposable masks can contaminate the hands, then the
wearer’s face or nearby fomites or surfaces.
so basically as soon as you touch it or move it it's contaminated and useless. Also the humidity the mask creates gives an even more favorable conditions for the virus to stay alive.
