OMG the Deep's fight scene on the water in Episode 3 was hilarious. Scene goes from desperate and outnumbered to comedy in 5 seconds flat.

I'm not super impressed with S2 so far. It feels like the show is taking itself too seriously right now. Episode 3 at least helped break that trend but I need more of the last 15 minutes of episode 3 and less of the rest of the season.

I did get shocked though whenSpoiler!
the deputy director's head just exploded out of nowhere. That was unexpected.

Yeah he has been a ****in misery. And at this point there's zero reason Starlight should be into him. He lied to her, then did it again, and then cucked out and admitted he's obsessed with her - all while being a depressed cry baby the whole time. This is what I mean when they changed the details and SJW this show.

Hughie in the comics isn't like this.

In fact, this show has almost nothing on common with the comics, other than name and some characters.

They completely changed... Well... Everything.

I only watch it still because of the theme being the same.

Hughie is a bit of a b!tch, but remember what happened to him. His fiancee got ran through by A-Train. His dad got murdered in S1 too, right? And it's probably been a few weeks, tops. The only thing he really got out of it was Starlight's sweet, sweet nectar and she took that away. Dude's going through two layers of grief and a SERIOUS case of Starlight withdrawals. Hell, his fiancee Robin was a cutie too, he's got double withdrawal syndrome going.

There's also his bedroom at his dads which was modeled like an 8 year olds room. Still had action figures of the seven all over in factory boxes...fkn smh. His one good decision was taking Starlight to a hotel and not to that room lmao

But his dads still alive unless I missed something. I think he's just in CIA protection.
