I need to get a dashcam. Almost got killed just now

I was driving south. There is a median dividing the northbound and southbound lanes. I put my signal on to turn right. I notice the person northbound doesnt stop in the median and keeps going. I slow down and hit my horn. They just keep going. Came an inch away from hitting me. Then they get behind me and keep honking their horn at me for the 3 minutes they follow me to my house. I pull into my driveway and they sit there in the road outside my house. I went inside and got my gun ready for them to come and try something. They drove off after I was staring at them from my window. What the fuk is wrong with people?

Edit: yellow circle is where guy tried to hit side of my truck

I am on linux and it added a bunch of black to where I used the erase function. I tried it twice and cant get rid of it.

I have been meaning to get one as well. The blackvue cameras are legit and comes with both front and rear camera also has parking feature records when vibration is detected.

Yes I signaled right turn by the way. I had right of way and did nothing wrong. Only reason I honked was to make sure they knew I was there in case they couldnt see my huge truck in front of them

The thing is I am sick of people here in florida, on the way before this happened there was a county truck parked in the road on the oncoming side. People were backed up behind the truck and when I was approaching TWO VEHICLES came around the truck and I had to slam on my brakes to avoid an oncoming collision and my fukin soda came flying out from between my legs and spilled all over my floor. I am so sick of driving in florida. The reason I want a dash cam is just to upload day to day driving here to show you guys because I dont think you would even believe how bad it is here unless you see it.

Is there a good dashcam for $100? I bought one and it is useless. It deletes anything it records if you turn it back on after it has been turned off. And only records 5 minutes at a time. And you cant review it on the screen because like I said if you turn it back on it deletes all recording

I just moved a semi truck trailer load of **** from a 3 story house yesterday. Carrying dressers and furniture up and down stairs for 10 hours has me weak and sore as fuk right now. Also in florida if you even push somebody no matter how much they deserve it, they can justifiably shoot you under stand your ground law.

I went into some litigation earlier this year where this dude said he was injured but he was BSing.

Luckily it ended in my favor but had I had a dashcam it would have had hard evidence. Bought one since that incident.

I think my dash cam is good but i actually havent tested saving any clips yet... got an AUKEY forward and rear one. Would prefer more of a fish lens to get more sides but it should do. In New Jersey we literally arent allowed to make turns like that on highways because people cannot be trusted, so we have jughandles everywhere. Another dangerous one is when there are two lanes almost nobody knows they are required to turn into the lane closest to them. 95% of people are lazy as **** and just swing wide into the lane Furthest from them, creating a potentially hazardous situation. That being said, as ****ed up as it is, in your situation if you saw him coming and just said **** it and went for it while laying on your horn thinking, I have a camera, i have right of way etc, it can still be partially determined to be your fault, because technically we need to take all available action to avoid an accident also. So youd have to kindof bull**** it and say you literally didnt see the guy at all. But i personally dont believe in lying in auto accident reports but sadly almost everyone else does it.

What the hell is a jug handle? what turns arent allowed? Turning right off a road?

Edit: might want to test that before you truly need it and find out the stuff doesnt save. I have a dash cam that is useless and luckily got a refund after emailing them and telling them what a piece of **** it is (using calm language)

Rules exist for a reason. An accepted set of rules keeps people safe. When people drive erratic like they do in FL and make all kinds of random unpredictable movements on the road it causes accidents. It is dangerous. You are so fukin outside of reality. I drove a suzuki gz 250 for 2 years when I was in high school and worked at mcdonalds. It was only thing I could afford at the time. Yes I know about how cage people drive

People are jackasses.

I'm not a perfect driver, so if I fuk up and someone honks at me, I know I deserved it. But there are *******s out there where if you honk to let them know the light's green, or that they're about to hit you, or they're just driving like a dumbass etc....they will act like you just insulted their entire family tree and flip you off and/or follow you.

Driving brings out the worst in people.
