I have a couple of candidates, but I think Miller's Crossing is the least known of them.

Tell me yours so I have something to watch that I haven't seen, the next time I'm bored.

I almost never watch movies, OP, so I can't recommend anything.
It is mostly because I hate hollywood liberals that I stopped watching TV/Movies in general as I don't want to support their ped-0-infested lifestyles.

Not sure how popular Take Shelter is, but I don't remember coming across it until browsing Netflix one night years ago.

the original The Wicker Man
strangely this is a very well known movie but turns out not a lot of people have actually seen it
most people (non-movie buffs) think of the awful Cage remake and call it a day

-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.
