Shot an area match yesterday (regional championship for non-USPSA folks) squadded up with Max Michel. 11 stages so it was a long day. But doing your stage planning with the guy who is literally the best in the world in your division was a lot of fun. Competing is crazy addictive. I haven't been up to much for classes this year but competing wherever I can. Can't recommend it enough for those looking for a little more challenge. Some of the safety nazi stuff can be a little cheesy at times but the movement and weapon manipulation you pick up has a lot of carry over elsewhere.

The day is off to a good start. Hit the gym at 6am and got in a good workout. Took the doge for a nice walk when I got home. And the high today is only supposed to be about 65 with sunny skies. Has been a record-breaking summer for 90-degree days and it's going to feel glorious to have the temps back where they should be this time of year.

Maybe gonna rake up some leaves and clean up the garage a bit later. Might even go for a bike ride. All while watching zero NFL games.

Got 500 .223 a few weeks ago; every time I get a notification of stock I am too late. I emailed them and they said it's a supplier issue right now, the suppliers got slammed so it's hard to get any stock shipped in.

Things have been coming back though, not most common rounds yet, but a lot more lately; 6.5 creedmor came back, .338, 38 S&W, ect

so I am hopefull that they might get some 9mm and .45 ACP soon.

We had a late start in NH. First match of the year was in June. Clubs have been hesitant to hold them thanks to the rona. I've had to call in a lot of favors this year to continue competing thanks to the ammo shortages. I'm very fortunate to be close with a few sponsored folks and have a position that requires product knowledge so I can *occasionally* squeak out some free ammo.

This will pass. We're expecting things to get difficult come mid 2021. This industry has never seen demand this high and it isn't sustainable. Any company without some cool stuff in the pipeline to launch when things slow is going to be in rough shape next year. Many of them I think know it and are trying to bring in people to plan for it. I've had both Smith and Springfield recruiters reach out in the last couple weeks.

Demand will level off or we'll have a new paradigm.

I'll be surprised if ammo Manufacturing doesn't increase

i am seriously looking forward to the end of this banic/pandemic/SHTF situation. once ammo comes back in stock im going to stack major cases of 5.56, 9mm & 308. i need a few thousand rounds of 12 ga #4 and 500 mag too.

Lol just went through 20/30 pages, haven’t been reading the past 2 weeks..

Bunch of penzoil heads here

I use Mobil 1 for my Honda and at my shop I run through drums of synthetic blend oil I buy by the drum load. I usually buy a 55 gallon drum of oil every other week. I’ve gone through more than 50 something barrels in the last 2 years

Edit: last 2 years not 2 months and I use STP fully synthetic for cars that require full synthetic oil such as mostly chevys that come into my binness

Also lol’d everytime I’d see punicheeps comment

I remember when that one dude called him that, idk why I found it hilarious and it makes me smile everytime I see punicepts name now. Those days were probably one of the last days I’ve ever followed misc religiously and before I even entered this thread/shot my first firearm.

i realize how lame this is going to sound but i really dont drink anymore.

but when i do il usually get a fifth of jack and a few beers, take shots and sip beer.

i am seriously looking forward to the end of this banic/pandemic/SHTF situation. once ammo comes back in stock im going to stack major cases of 5.56, 9mm & 308. i need a few thousand rounds of 12 ga #4 and 500 mag too.
justice served. Don't have to worry about that here in MI too much, Det police chief has things pretty good.

can confirm. don't drink. Over the past maybe 6 years have probably had less than 10 drinks, am 28. Never been a fan. (aside from wedding and honeymoon) brb glass of wine is cheaper than a diet coke....

please tell me you'll pick up a benelli m4.....
the above post is not serious and is for entertainment purposes only.
Thanks for your time.

it seems like there is a little progress towards bringing criminal penalties to these rioters, oregon federally deputizing LE, trump officially classified antifa as a terrorist organization, and florida proposing laws to bring the heat down on antifa/blm as well. some might argue its a bad thing to keep adding laws on top of laws when its already illegal though.

as for shotguns its possible but unlikely il get a benelli m4 anytime soon. id be more likely to get a vepr12, but i already have a saiga 12
