If trump succumbs to covid, and there is no retribution toward the chinese for manufacturing this disease (there won't be), it will the end of the american empire.

I'm not familiar with your hairline but american dominance was receding since bush jr dragged us into two unnecessary wars and wrecked our economy. This is true unfortunately. The USA government is trying right now to focus on china and to maintain its hegemony in the Pacific. But I'm afraid it's too late and the Chinese are moving too fast.

Not that I take Acosta citing "our sources" at face value, but I don't see them doing this this way unless they were pretty concerned. The video was really shoddy and didn't have the usual White House production values, like hospitalization was time-sensitive.

There was some suggestion he'd spiked a fever this morning, and also that his aides had thought he was sick Wednesday. Seems plausible.

The quote really only says "WH officials have serious concerns about Trump's condition tonight and his symptoms are worse than those of the First Lady at this point," neither of which really say anything. Surely more than one "WH official" would describe their concern as "serious," and one of the two needs to be worse than the other.

The antibody treatment is extremely time-sensitive, which explains the rush.
