I know the game hasn't even released yet but I wonder where a sequel would take place?

Cyberpunk:Russia? Cyberpunk:Tokyo????

True, but we still don't know when the next-gen patch is coming. Hopefully they reveal it the same week Cyberpunk 2077 is released.

nothing against getting a Series X but i'm a bit hesitant to get one from the first batch after those 360 rings of death lol

so I'm gonna see how it runs first on Xbone

I honestly don't really care that much about resolution and stuff, so as long as it has a steady framerate it's fine by me

Mirin' the map and it's size. This is better (smaller) because you will actually remember places, roads, points of interest faster and i think the verticality will be insane.

I had lost interest in this game but after seeing the video on the different neighborhoods, I’m interested again. Hopefully there will be a lot of building interiors that you can actually explore as opposed to a giant but shallow city like GTA 5.

CDPR has already said this is the case. It's really isn't a "small" map at all because a **** load of buildings can be explored. So when you add the vertical levels in the game, it's pretty massive still.

this game is a human rights violating. Yes it will probably be the most in depth game ever made but at the cost of abusing workers

at the end of the day its at will work that they are paid for and they are always free to quit.

But at some point these kinds of games will just be unsustainable as it takes longer and longer and more work to create. People have limits.

Guess I just don't feel bad for them.
You sit in the AC all day and work for one of the most bad ass studios ever.

I've worked 90+ hour weeks many times - in 100 degree warehouses in south Louisiana humidity.

Tbf CDPR had previously mocked other AAA studios for bad project management and promised there'd be no crunch for CP2077, so they should be targeted for criticism even if their "crunch" isn't like in the other studios.

LMFAO!!! Violating human rights by paying them a lot of money to work hard. Abusing workers = expecting them to deliver what they are being paid for.

It’s CDPR though. As long as you keep your expectations realistic should be fine.

Agreed with this. Complaining about your job is dumb, you can always find another career if you really want to.

Just worked 20 straight, Sep. 9-30, no days off and 72-96 hours per week. That's life sometimes.

To top it off they're sharing a good percentage of the profit margins with them, too. That's plenty motivating.

What I love about the game is that it's not even about racing, but the car models are super detailed and diverse both in the exterior and the interior. It does explain why there's no customization though, it'd be substantially more work to change not only the appearance of the car but all the interior details too (e.g. adding turbo or nitro, displacing the existing parts to fit the mods). And people would probably be mad if it was too superficial e.g. only color changes or parts like spoilers.

Ray tracing will only be available on PCs with GeForce graphics cards or via GeForce NOW at launch, though we expect that it'll be eventually compatible with AMD's new Navi graphics cards as well as being featured on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X once the proper enhancement updates drop for the next-gen consoles in 2021.

https://wccftech.com/cdpr-talks-gi-v...ial-animation/

ah crap, that means next gen console players are out of luck for launch.

I watched a preview from a guy who played it for a few hours and he said he was walking down the street and walked past the exact same npc one after the other which concerned him.

Since then i am pretty sure i have noticed the same thing and clocked the same exact npc more than once in different screenshots.

Also in the gangs of night city promo at 2:28 there is a crowd of people standing and if you look you’ll see they are standing in one of two poses, hands clasped in front of them or behind their back, so not much variation there, just cut and paste two poses.

My point is there is going to be a chit load of cut and paste repetition throughout the game and people should temper their expectations.

There is a reason it has been delayed twice and the development team are crunching the last few weeks.

My guess is it could do with another 6-12 months development to make it the 10/10 game some people are hoping for.

I have no doubt it will be good, but it will be rough around the edges and you will see the same open world problems that you see in other games.

Just pre-ordered during Gamestop Pro Days for Xbox One X, when I get the Xbox Series X will Cyberpunk be enhanced with the new systems capabilities or will there be a different version of the game you would need to buy?
