3rd time this guy came and banged on my door. Black guy on a bicycle. I heard a knock today and by the time I got to the door he was in the street on his bicycle and I saw him. I put on my boots and got in my truck and went looking for him. He was a few blocks away. I asked him why do you keep banging on my door. He said "I was just uhh, uhhh" and didnt say why. I told him dont ever bang on random people's doors thats how you get shot. His eye brows got all scrunched up and he just stared at me. I drove back home. I am sick of this fukin place.

Remind me of 1 night I was chilling at home and around 1 am I get a knock on my door . I'm freaked the hell out I get up and move away from the window ..next thing you know I literally watch the person try to turn the door nob from the inside

Probably casing the joint OP, joggers of all races will knock on a door to see if someone answers it around a certain time to get an idea of your personal schedule. If you're AFK they may jog into your home and help you pawn your television set, computer, or personal entertainment systems.

In many cases, these people aren't even smart enough to go to a neighboring hood and will rob convenience stores and/or private homes in their own neighborhood to score.

I dont know. I only talk to one neighbor about once a month or every couple weeks. There has been a lot of crime lately though. I read it on local news sites. I moved out of a big city after living there 5 years. It was the 5th largest city in my state. I had 2 bad things happen to me. One thing was at a stop light down town a group of guys surrounded my truck at a stop light and a guy came around my drives side and made a motion to roll down my window. I shook my head no. The guy on the passenger side yanked on my door handle. I hit the gas and the guy in front of me jumped out of the way. I ran the red light to get out. Another time I had someone that was affiliated with my neighbor kick my door in. I had new neighbors and they kept slamming the door. I got sick of it and yelled from inside my apt "stop slamming the damn door". They slammed it even harder. These people would slam the door at all hours day and night. They would slam it so hard the door would go faster than the door knocker and when it hit closed the door knocker would bounce off. The noise was so loud it would thump my chest. It was jarring because it would be completely silent in my apartment and then all of a sudden it would be BANG and thump my chest and my heart would jump scaring the hell out of me. They would come and go from their apt to the parking lot like 20 times a day I am not exaggerating. I think they were selling drugs. A couple hours after I yelled a guy came and started hammer fist banging on my door and yelling. I was really drunk and just sat there. He then started kicking on my door so I got my gun and sat there. The door jam cracked around the latch area and the door broke free. I stood up and aimed my rifle at him and he ran down the stairs. I didnt call the cops before that point because in my drunk mind I thought I was going to get in trouble for yelling at the people. But after the door got broke I couldnt relock it and had to call the police. Cops said he was probably on crack but since they didnt witness the break in they cant arrest him. After that the neighbors started calling in fake complaints to the armed security company that patrolled the apt complex. The security company kept coming to my door every night between midnight and 4 am and would bang on my door and yell for me to come out. I got really sick of it. So I ended up moving here. I lived here from 12-19 years old. It used to be a nice area. After I moved here it started to get bad here as well. There has been a large shift in demographics and I have no idea why or where these people are coming from. I tried talking to some people I see to maybe ask where they're from but they are rude and will not even respond if you say hey hows it going. My neighbor is a nice mexican guy and he even randomly mentioned it in conversation one day in a very not politically correct way. He asked me if I've noticed and I said yeah idk whats going on. The crime here is bad. A lady got shot through her bedroom window in the middle of the night a few blocks from me about a month ago. The police blamed teenagers and have not arrested anyone yet. My neighbor told me someone stole his gps from his truck. Tons of homeless people begging for money aggressively at about every store. Cant even pump gas without one coming up and demanding money. Idk what to do I only have $3k saved. Trying to save $10k for 2+ acres in a forest and maybe build a timber frame or put a trailer on it.Florida. Used to live in south saint pete. Now this place is turning into there.

I've had this a few times recently too, random knocks on the door when I'm not expecting anyone and the knocker doesn't say anything. I just pretend I'm not home, no way I'm opening my door to a random knock, nothing good will come from it.

What do you think they wanted? Is it the same person? After someone came about a year ago it ended up being my new neighbor wanting something I think to borrow my lawn mower and I said no. I put alarms on all the doors and windows and put a beware of dog sign on my fence. Someone ended up stealing buckets from my fenced in back yard I had planned on using to grow tomatoes and potatoes.

probably on drugs. that used to happen over here. like 20 years ago. lot of ****in drug addicts and homeless ****in losers. knocking on doors or banging on sliding doors trying to break in at night. we had to barricade the door before because it was becoming a consistent issue

When I was a kid we used to ding dong ditch in various neighborhoods. One time I did it at some rich guys house and this middle aged man chased me down like he was going to murder me. He caught me. Never disrespected anyone’s property again srs.
